Galarian Mr. Mime, though it has its own unique qualities that are different than the normal, first-generation, Mr. Mime, is still an incredibly interesting Pokémon. However, there is one thing that sets them apart: as of February 18, 2023, it can be found in its shiny form in Pokémon GO. The arrival of Galarian Mr. Mime has presented a prime opportunity for those seeking to shiny hunt. However, capturing a Mr. Mime can prove to be quite the challenge, let alone a Galarian version.

Where can you find a Shiny Galarian Mr. Mime in Pokémon GO

In Pokémon GO, there are several region-locked Pokémon, encouraging players to travel and collaborate with fellow trainers. Mr. Mime is one of these region-locked creatures, only found in Europe. But the Galarian Mr. Mime is an entirely different story, only obtainable during select events that tend to occur during the winter months.

Until March 1, 2023, players have a chance to obtain Galarian Mr. Mime as a reward through research breakthrough encounters. And, if you're lucky, it could even be in its Shiny form. However, it is just one of six possible rewards, so you may have to work your way through several encounters. Alternatively, you could try trading with someone who has one.
