How to get a Vespiquen in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

There are hundreds of Pokémon in the series, and while Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl don't feature all of them, there are 493 to collect. Some have interesting ways to evolve, and one evolution is that of Combee and Vespiquen. You might be wondering how to get a Vespiquen.

To get a Vespiquen in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you need to raise a female Combee to level 21. A male Combee cannot evolve into a Vespiquen. This can be annoying as Combee only has a 12.5 percent chance to be female.

This means that you will be catching a lot of Combee unless you get lucky. The plus side is that male Combee can still get the honey gather ability which means they are not totally useless as you can farm honey with them.

Vespiquen is a bulky bug and flying-type Pokémon with some unique moves. While it isn't the best Pokémon, you will need it to complete your Pokémon. Vespiquen can also learn Power Gem, which is a nasty little surprise for any fire-type Pokémon, thinking they have an easy knockout.
