I chose you Blastoise!

Blastoise will be joining Pokémon Unite's roster on September 1 and you are probably wondering how to play as the water turtle. Blastoise can be purchased using Aeon Coins through the in-game shop.

As Blastoise will be the newest character, a lot of players will select the Pokémon for the simple fact it is new. So even if you don't have any interest in playing as the defender, it will be helpful to play as Blastoise to learn how to counter it.

It's unknown how much Aeon Coins are needed to unlock Blastoise's Unite License, but it could range from 6,000 to 10,000 based on other Pokémon's Unite License costs. So if you plan to play as or main Blastoise, you will want to start saving up or earning Aeon Coins now. Once Blastoise is released, you will immediately be able to purchase the Pokémon. You can also try out Blastoise in the practice arena to make sure you like the character.

The best way to earn Aeon Coins is to keep playing the game and completing challenges. Each week there are new challenges that offer more rewards. There are also daily rewards that can be done each day. Completing the battle pass is another great way to earn Aeon Coins. Pairing up with your friends will allow your team to perform better and thus earn a larger amount of Aeon Coins through completing games.
