The Pokétch, or Pokémon Watch, is a savvy device unique to the Sinnoh region. It offers many neat features, from a friendship checker to a step counter that will help you on your journey. Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl offer even more Pokétch apps, and today, we’ll tell you what they all are and how to find them.
Memo Pad (03) and Marking Map (12)
The Memo Pad is, quite literally, a pad that allows you to note down whatever you want. On the other hand, the Marking Map lets you know where you are on the Sinnoh map. It will also help you track Mesprit and Cresselia down later in the game.
Players can receive both the Memo Pad and Marking Map from the President of the Pokétch Company inJubilife City. The former will be given after one badge, while the latter will be given after three.
Friendship Checker (06)
The Friendship Checker gives you a rough estimate of your Pokémon’s affection levels for you. Hold the A button above the Pokémon whose friendship level you want to check. If it shows two big hearts, its friendship levels are maxed.
The Friendship Checker can be received from the girl in Eterna City’s Pokémon Center.
Egg Monitor (08)
The Egg Monitor shows you if the Pokémon you’ve left in Solaceon Town’s Day Care Center has laid an egg. You can receive it from the man inside the Day Care Center. He appears after you’ve deposited at least one Pokémon at the Day Care Center.

Pokémon History (09)
This Pokétch app shows you the last 12 Pokémon you have caught, evolved, traded, or hatched. You can get it from the Ruin Maniac left of the Pokémon Center in Solaceon Town.
Counter (10)
As its name implies, this Pokétch app allows you to count from one to 9,999. You can get it from the shopkeeper at Veilstone Department Store, 2F.
Analog Watch (11)
If you’re not fond of Pokétch’s built-in digital watch, you can get an analog one from the Black Belt in Celestic Town. He lives in the house to the left of the Pokémon Center.
Coin Toss (13)
The app allows you to flip a coin, letting it land on heads or tails. You can get it from the Rich Kid in Valor Lakefront. He lives in the house depicted in the photo above.
Calendar (14), Dot Artist (15), and Spinner (16)
The Calendar app is pretty self-explanatory. The Dot Artist app lets you draw things in mosaic style. The Spinner app lets you draw funny pictures onto it and make it spin.
You can receive all three apps from the nature researcher in Sunyshore City. You will need to show him a Pokémon with a Serious, Naive, and Quirky nature (in that order). He lives in a stray house on the rightmost cliff. You need Rock Climb to reach it.

Chain Counter (17)
You get the Chain Counter app automatically once you step into Ramanas Park with the National Pokédex on you. The Chain Counter app tracks the Pokémon you’ve encountered and defeated (or captured), making shiny hunts much easier. You can Surf at Ramanas Park from Sandgem Town.
Kitchen Timer (18) and Color Changer (19)
The Kitchen Timer is, as implied, a timer. It has a Snorlax printed on it. Meanwhile, the Color Changer is a Kecleon-themed app that lets you change the background color of your Pokétch. Both can be obtained from the girl in Ramanas Park by showing her a Snorlax and a Kecleon. You must show her the Snorlax first.
