How to get Spiritomb in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl feature 493 Pokémon to find and catch, but none are as difficult to get as Spiritomb. You cannot simply just catch this Pokémon, but rather must go through a quest just to encounter it. So you might be wondering how to get Spiritomb.

To get Spiritomb in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you will need the Odd Keystone and access to both the Grand Underground and Route 209. You will need to follow these steps to encounter and have a chance at catching Spiritomb.

• Get the Odd Keystone from the hidden trainer on Route 208. He is hiding southeast of the honey tree behind the trees.
• Go to Route 209 and insert the Odd Keystone into the crumbled Hallowed Tower just beyond the bridges.
• Travel the Grand Underground and speak to 32 different named NPCs. Hikers do not count towards this total.
• Return to the Hallowed Tower and Spiritomb will appear.

Once you encounter Spiritomb, you can either capture it or knock it out. Regardless of which option you select, you can encounter Spiritomb again by speaking to the 32 named NPCs in the Grand Underground.
