Pokémon GO Fest 2022 is here, and Ticket-holders are getting a whole new GO Fest experience with the Special Research tasks. Players will be given a choice of three branching paths (Catch, Explore, or Battle) as well as three difficulty levels (Relaxed, Standard, or Master) to choose from when starting their Special Research for the day. These paths and difficulties will change the tasks given to the player throughout GO Fest 2022. Below is the full list of quest steps and rewards for the Explore branch of GO Fest 2022's Special Research.
All Catch Quests and Rewards
Players should note that while different path choices (Catch, Explore, and Battle) lead to different outcomes as far as quests and rewards go, the different difficulty levels (Relaxed, Standard, or Master) will generally result in the same rewards but with much harder tasks.
The higher difficulties are for players that really want to work hard over the course of the two-day-long event. The only thing that is notably different among the difficulty choices is the sticker that players will receive in the seventh quest. Players should receive a Professor Willow Sticker that corresponds to the difficulty of the path that the player has chosen.
Relaxed Difficulty
Quest 1/7
- Send one Gift to a friend - Two Incense
- Use one Incense - 22 Poké Balls
- Catch 10 Pokémon - Two Pinap Berries
Reward: Two Razz Berries, two Poffins, and 2,022 XP.
Quest 2/7
- Open three Gifts from friends - Two Egg Incubators
- Send Gifts to three different friends - 22 Poké Balls
- Give three treats to your Buddy Pokémon - 2,022 XP
Reward: Two Lucky Eggs, Land Forme Shaymin Avatar T-Shirt, and 2,022 Stardust.
Quest 3/7
- Spin five Photo Discs at PokéStops or Gyms - 2,022 Stardust
- Earn three hearts with your Buddy Pokémon - 22 Great Balls
- Earn 2,022 XP - Two Nanab Berries
Reward: Two Egg Incubators, 2,022 XP, and an encounter with a Klink.
Quest 4/7
- Hatch an Egg - 2,022 Stardust
- Complete three Field Research Tasks - 2,022 XP
- Walk 1km - 22 Poké Balls
Reward: 2,022 Stardust, two Rare Candies, and an encounter with a Tropius.
Quest 5/7
- Earn one Candy while walking with your Buddy Pokémon - Two Max Potions
- Catch 10 Pokémon - Two Star Pieces
- Walk 1km - Two Lure Modules
Reward: Two Super Incubators, 2,022 XP, and an encounter with a Torkoal.
Quest 6/7
- Hatch one Egg - Two Silver Pinap Berries
- Spin 15 Photo Discs at PokéStops or Gyms - An encounter with a Galarian Mr. Mime
- Catch 10 Pokémon - Two Golden Razz Berries
Reward: Two Rare Candies, 22 Ultra Balls, and an encounter with a Shaymin.

- Claim reward - 2,022 XP
- Claim reward - 2,022 Stardust
