Pokémon Go Gible Community Day: Date, Features, & Everything We Know!

Check out what's in store for Gible Community Day in Pokémon Go!

Gible, one of the most adorably feisty Pokémon, is having his own special Community Day. For those unaware, Community Days greatly increase the spawn rate for their featured Pokémon, and make it more likely for players to run into a shiny version. Here is what we know about June's Community Day for Gible!

Date & Time

Gible will be spotted all over your Pokémon Go map on June 6, 2021 from 11am to 5pm. Since Pokémon Go uses local time, players in different time zones will see the Gibles populating their map at different times.

Featured Changes

The list below contains all the significant changes that will happen during the event's timeframe. Be sure to take advantage of them while they last!

  • Gible's spawn rate will be dramatically increased, and there will be an increased chance to find Shiny Gibles.
  • If you evolve Gible to Garbite and then to Garchomp during the event or up to two hours afterward, it will have the attack Earth Power.
  • Catching Pokémon during the event's timeframe will reward you with three times the base XP.
  • Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Taking snapshots during Community Day will sometimes feature a Gible interrupting the shot.
  • A Special Research Story called Just a Nibble will be available for $1 USD (or the equivalent in other currencies). This research is exclusive to the Community Day Event and cannot be accessed afterward.
  • The one-time-purchase Community Day Box will cost 1,280 PokéCoins. It contains 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, five Incense, and an Elite Charged TM.

That's everything we know about this event so far! Be sure to check back regularly for updates as we get closer to the event date! Don't forget to check out our Pokémon Go Homepage for more great content and guides!
