Pokémon GO Torracat Raid Guide – Torracat Counters & Weaknesses

Need some help battling the Fire Cat Pokémon?

The Alolan Fire-type starter Torracat is currently available in Raids in Pokémon GO. While Torracat is not the most difficult Raid boss players can face off against in Pokémon GO, it is always nice to run through a Raid Guide to prepare for the battle. Raid Guides let players know which Pokémon and typings are best to take into the fight and increase the chance of success.

Torracat is a Fire-type Pokémon, which means it has a long list of resistances. Players going up against this Pokémon should bring along Pokémon that have Ground, Rock, or Water-type moves as Torracat is weak to these typings. Avoiding Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass, Ice, or Fairy-type moves is a good idea since these will not be as effective.

How to beat Torracat in Pokémon GO

  • Bite (Dark-type)
  • Ember (Fire-type)
