Where-to Buy Quick Balls in Pokemon Sword and Shield

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

We're taking a quick look at how-to get Quick Balls in Pokemon Sword and Shield! These are my favorite Poke Balls, because instead of bringing down your target Pokemon to low health, you can just throw one of these out in the beginning of the battle and catch them most of the time. Finding these in the new generation of games is a bit more confusing than normal, but this guide should clear that up for you.

Where-to Buy Quick Balls

You actually can get them very early on in the game once you've reached the Wild Area. Look for the man in a white suit called the Watt Trader. He can be found in many of the different named locations in the Wilds. Like his name implies, he sells items for Watts. The problem with this guy is that his stock can be different because it changes periodically. However, if you go to the various different locations he can be found, you can find different special Poke Balls, including the Quick Balls we're looking to obtain!

Start off at the bottom of the Wild Area and make your way to each of the Watt Traders. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find the one selling Quick Balls, but that won't always be the case. If you go to the map and place your cursor on each of named locations, it will tell you if it has a Watt Trader. Each one costs 50 Watts, but this is well worth it to save you a lot of time catching Pokemon the old fashioned way!

Here's a list of the location that have Watt Traders:

  • Meetup Spot
  • Dappled Grove
  • East Lake Axewell
  • Giant's Seat
  • Bridge Field
  • Giant's Cap
  • Hammerlocke Hills

Wyndon

If you don't want to spend your Watts, you can progress very deep into the game to purchase Quick Balls. Once you reach Wyndon, you'll be able to go to the Pokemon Center and purchase them for 1,000 Pokemon Dollars.
