The Pokémon franchise is easily considered one of the most well-known and popular series in the world. Fans have played Pokémon since Red and Blue was released in 1996 and continue to play the many games released since then. Some fans have even created their content, like the Mezo Region and its Pokédex.
The Mezo Region is a fan project that has been in the works for a decade. Artist Lugi-Oh has been creating homemade and hand-drawn Pokémon and releasing them on the interest for quite some time. These can be seen on Twitter and DeviantArt.

The Mezo Region seems to be inspired by Mexico and South America, especially when looking at the design for the region. Many Pokémon share this theme, including both original Pokémon created by Lugi-Oh and regional form Pokémon native to the Mezo Region.
Lugi-Oh's work is awe-inspiring and features incredibly designed Pokémon. Sadly, these are limited to just art and are not part of a playable Pokémon game. But if you are a Pokémon fan, you should absolutely check out Lugi-Oh's wonderful project!
