Poppy Playtime is one of the most popular horror franchises, with an ever-expanding lore with every DLC iteration. With the newest introduction of the Chapter 4 DLC, tons of secrets have been added to the game. These include secret rooms, easter eggs, and much more. These secrets can be tough to notice, so to help you with that, here's a complete list of every hidden secret in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.
Untitled Red Tape - Location and How to get
Location: Inside Tunnel, Around Critters.
How To Get: Grab the tape using either arm, during Doey Chase.
The mysterious and untitled Red Tape has been one of the most fan-favorite hidden secrets in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4. If you're able to grab this secret tape within a few seconds during a scary chase, then you'll have the privilege to view secret footage of Poppy expressing her frustrations regarding The Prototype, while also providing lore on its origins.
Huggy Wuggy Revived - Secret Appearance
Location: At the end, inside the locked room.
One of the most mind-boggling secrets revealed in Chapter 4 of Poppy Playtime was the reappearance of Huggy Wuggy. The previously presumed dead, Huggy Wuggy, returned at the last moments of the Chaoter 4 DLC when you play the white tape at the end. This hints towards Huggy Wuggy's involvement in the sequel chapter of Poppy Playtime.
Secret Room - Location and How to enter
Location: At the end of the Corridor, inside the Prison
How to enter: Place the 'P' symbol slabs on the sockets.
When finding your way out of the Prison, you might notice an odd door at the end of the corridor with a huge sign on the top. That door actually leads to a secret room with peculiar designs and the Yellow VHS tape, that you can collect. You can open the door by collecting the slabs with the 'P' symbol on them, hidden in the nearby rooms.
All cutouts in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4
One of the most captivating easter egg in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 are the cutouts. There are multiple cutouts of various animatronics, each having its own set of pre-recorded lines. There are currently eight cutouts, so here's each of the animatronic cutouts, and where you can find them:
Pianosaurus Cutout
Location: Inside the facility, after beating Yarnby
When you proceed through the facility after beating Yarnby, you can find the green cutout of Pianosaurus, with a 'Press Here' button that recites a few lines of this animatronic.
Doey Cutout
Location: Inside tank room, on the way back to Safe Have
While returning to Safe Haven, you need to cross a room with the Gear Puzzle. This room also has the cutout of Doey the Doughman, which captures his cute aesthetics, and also has a red button that recites some of his voice lines.
Yarnby Cutout
Location: Inside the control room, in the Prison.
While decrypting your first code in the Prison's control room, you can also find an adorable cutout of Yarnby in the room's corner. Similar to other cutouts, it has a 'Press Here' button that recites some of Yarnby's voice lines.
Mommy Long Legs Cutout
Location: Inside the locker room, after hiding from The Prototype.
When you're going to the Safe Haven alongside Poppy, you can find the cutout of Mommy Long Legs right after you've had your encounter with The Prototype. If you press the Red button, she will speak some of her lines.
Kickin Chicken Cutout
Location: Beside a tent, inside the Safe Haven.
After you've reached the Safe Haven, you can either choose to listen to the critter speaking or find the cutout of the Kickin Chicken near the shower room. Pressing the red button will make him speak.
Dog Day Cutout
Location: Inside the Infirmary of the Safe Haven.
The infirmary is the passage you'll be using most frequently in Poppy Playtime. It also has the cutout of the DogDay animatronic, right as you enter the room.
Bubba Bubbaphant Cutout
Location: Inside the hanging room, in the Gas Chamber.
When you climb up the boxes to reach the Hanging Room in the Gas Chamber (inside the mineshaft), there you can stumble upon the cutout of Bubba Bubbaphant. You will also find the Blue VHS tape, alongside the cutout.
Huggy Cutout
Location: Underground room, near boxes.
As you move through the underground rooms, you will find a room with two blue boxes and tons of scraps nearby. In between them, you can find the cutout of the iconic Huggy. Moreover, pressing his button will play some of his voice.
Developer's Cat easter egg location
Location: Inside a worker's locker, in the Facility.
There's an adorable easter egg of two pictures of the Developer's Cat inside the worker's locker located in the Facility, right before entering the Foundation.
Harley Sawyer's Room - Location and How to enter
Location: In The Doctor's Maze
When running for your life through the doctor's maze, you can stumble upon this secret room which belongs to Harley Sawyer. To enter this room, you just need to run along the wall, till you eventually find the white door leading to this room. Do note that you will be hunted by Elliot's machines outside.
Lemon easter egg - Location and How to get
Location: Behind the Prisoner's cell in the Prison.
How to get: Aim at the dark corner, and grab it with your Blue hand.
When crouching through the prisoner's cell to try and escape from the Prison, there is a hidden easter egg that you're almost certainly going to miss. There is a hidden Lemon item, stashed away behind the caged area. To get it, you need to aim your hand at the above point and grab it. This hidden secret lemon also makes a 'Lemonnn!' sound every time you press it.
