Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Immortal Difficulty - Tips and Tricks

Immortal is no joke in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and I've died numerous times as a result. I've gathered a series of tips and tricks for playing Immortal difficulty in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown below.

  • Dodge vs. Parry - With the increased difficulty of parrying, dodging becomes a much more viable option. You can also practice parrying by speaking to Artaban in Haven to become better with this mechanic. I recommend spending time here learning how to time dodging and parrying properly.
  • Equip the right Amulets - Amulets that increase your health, damage, and resistance are crucial to playing Immortal difficulty. Switch your Amulets up depending on what enemies you encounter and the environments you are in. Using the Blessing, Hardiness, Holy Fire, Horned Viper, Mount Damavand, Shield of Mithra, and Dragon King Amulets can be the difference between life and death.
  • Upgrades - Focus on upgrades on your Potion and Amulets listed above. These will make surviving easier, so spend your currency on vital upgrades at Haven. Save any Time Crystals, Xerses, and Azure Damascus Ingots you find, and don't spend them on frivolous upgrades.
  • Study enemy attacks - Sometimes, it is better to learn an enemy's attack pattern before engaging, especially bosses. Spend time dodging and keeping your distance to see what kind of attacks they use and learn whether to dodge or parry and the proper timings. You should also accept you will die a few times but use these as learning opportunities.
  • Track Athra - Athra lets you use powerful attacks, but it generates by landing attacks and depletes on taking damage. Before battling a boss, ensure you have full Athra by defeating enemies nearby. Having full Athra lets you unleash powerful attacks and have better odds of defeating bosses.
