Psychonauts 2 has finally launched! after 16 years of waiting, players can finally assume the role of fledgling Psychonaut Raz, and he delves into the many minds of his adversaries. As an action platformer, Psychonauts 2 will require players to use all their traversal tools, including levitate.
Raz can glide midair by using his Levitate ability while in the air. He'll spawn a thought bubble that suspends him in the air briefly before popping. This technique is a useful way to traverse the game's more rigorous platforming segments.
To equip Levitate, head to the Psychic powers menu by tapping up on the D-pad. Scroll over the Levitate ability and tap the button you'd like to map the ability to. These hotkeys can be changed at any point during the game, so play around with the controls until something feels right.
Levitate has multiple applications in Psychonauts 2, including speedy traversal on land via the Levitation sphere. Make sure to use the ability to cross wide gaps and when on foot and bridge the gap to far-reaching platforms when airborne.
