Psychonauts 2: How to Wall Jump

Up your air time.

Traversal is paramount to an action platformer like Psychonauts 2. Raz will need to run, dodge, and create a path forward through the many minds he explores throughout the game. One key ability he’ll need to master on his journey is the Wall Jump.

To Wall Jump, initiate a standard jump towards a vertical surface. Once Raz has jumped towards a wall, he’ll automatically stick to its surface before sliding down. After making contact with the wall, press the jump button again to leap off of the wall. This ability can be done in rapid succession if there is more than one wall ahead as well.

Make sure to use this ability to explore the many levels of Psychonauts 2 and fully traverse the minds in the game. It’ll be a key skill when Raz needs to find all of the game’s collectibles, upgrades, and paths forward.

Psychonauts has received massive praise for its faithful continuation of the cult classics franchise, blending invigorating platforming with witty characters and excellent humor. Thanks to the Microsoft Day One Game Pass program, Xbox Game Pass users can even download the game for free.
