Mods, mods and more mods!

While the gameplay in R.E.P.O. is fun, sometimes you need a little more. This is where mods come in, as they can quickly spice things up while staying true to the core gameplay. Here's a rundown on the best R.E.P.O. mods that you should get.

Here are the five must-have mods for R.E.P.O. that can take your gameplay to the next level.

MorePlayers

If you are tired of having just six players on your team, then MorePlayers is the mod for you. With this, you can change the default player cap to your liking. Either limiting it to just two to play with your best friend or setting it to 100 and unleashing a storm, this mod can do it all.

REPO ServerList

Given how the game is in early access, bugs are to be expected, and one such bug is getting stuck in the queue, waiting for the game to start. This is where the SeverList mod can help. After installing it, you will see a Join Game button on the home screen, which holds a list of lobbies. You can then click on a particular lobby to quickly start the round.

MoreStamina

After successfully evading a monster, you might be tempted to head back to a much safer location or to where your friends are, only to find out that you have either completely exhausted your stamina or there's barely any left. This is where MoreStamina by BobisMods comes in. The mod makes stamina drain much more realistic, allowing you to get out of a sticky situation.

TeamUpgrades

If MoreStamina left you wanting more, not just for you but for the whole team, then TeamUpgrades is what you should get. From small tweaks like player count to big upgrades like grab range and strength, TeamUpgrades has it all.

FreeCamSpectate

Similar to other games, R.E.P.O. also limits you to spectate through other players after you die, but you can change this with FreeCamSpectate. This mod lets you move your camera however you like, allowing you to freely watch your teammates get killed.

How to install R.E.P.O. Mods

To install R.E.P.O mods, you need to first install the BepInExPack framework and then the mod itself. Without BepInEx, the mods you install will not work, so here's a step-by-step guide on how you can do it:

  1. Head to BepInExPack page on Thunderstore and click on manual download.
  2. Next, extract the downloaded zip file and open it.
  3. Copy the BepInExPack folder to the directory where the game's executable is located.

If you are using Steam, you can find the directory by right-clicking on it, hovering over manage, and clicking on browse local files.

  1. After installing BepInExPack, download the mod of your choice and extract it.
  2. Open the extracted directory and copy the plugins folder.
  3. Now open the BepInExPack folder and then the BepInEx folder.
  4. Finally, paste the plugins folder inside BePinEx and launch the game.

Alternatively, you can also use the GaleModManager to make installing mods simpler.
