The popular shooter Rainbow Six Siege has had a strong history of Halloween themed events. This year will be no different, as an old game mode is making a big comeback for the spooky season. Fans of other horror games (particularly Dead by Daylight) might want to hop in to this unique game mode dropping for Halloween.
What is the Halloween Event in Rainbow Six Siege?
This Halloween, The Doktor's Curse mode will be making a return to Rainbow Six Siege. After a brief teaser, Rainbow Six Siege finally confirmed the event on their Twitter page. This will be the fourth rendition of The Doktor's Curse, given the subtitle "Night of the Hunters." There will be some new hunters in this mode, along with a rebalanced cast of characters.
What is The Doktor's Curse in Rainbow Six Siege?
The Doktor's Curse is like a shooter version of Hide and Seek. There are two sides: Monsters and Hunters. The Monsters basically have to hide while the Hunters search for them and try to clear them out.

Each Hunter has a limited tool kit in this game mode as well. Usually, Hunters get a Hammer they can use along with whichever tracking equipment comes with the operator's usual loadout.
When is the Rainbow Six Siege Halloween Event 2023?
After much speculation, Rainbow Six Siege finally confirmed that The Doktor's Curse 4: Night of the Hunters will release on Oct 13. This isn't the first time that this date has been used for a Rainbow Six Siege Halloween Event, and it will be Friday the 13th (a naturally spooky date).
