Despite the horrors of Reanimal, you can always find the joys in discovering new Secret Masks with our Locations guide! In the demo version, you’ll be dropped into a short section of game to get a taste of the tense and Little Nightmares-esque atmosphere, interesting mechanics, and even various Collectibles.

How to Get All Secret Masks in Reanimal

The demo of Reanimal shows two main areas — the Mill and the Trainyard, where you can find three masks that let you customize your character's appearance. In this guide we’ll show you where you can find them and add a little whimsy to this harrowing journey.

Mask #1 Location

While making your way through the sewer tunnel, you’ll eventually find a ladder that leads you inside the Mill, where you get a glimpse of the tall looming figure known as the Sniffer. It’s walking away, so no need to be alarmed (yet). To the left of the shutter door it used, you’ll be able to hoist yourself up.

  • Just follow the path until you reach another ladder.
  • Once you climb up, there are two paths you can take. Going forward will lead you to Hood, one of the friends you’re searching for. Instead, you’ll want to go left and follow the path until you reach a door to the outside.
  • At the end of the walkway you'll spot a crack in the wall. Get closer to it so an interaction prompt shows up and squeeze through.
  • Once inside, go to the open crate and you’ll obtain the first Secret Mask in this Reanimal demo.

Mask #2 Location

Right after passing the barred tunnel where you saw Hood, you’ll find yourself in a giant room with a broken bridge. You have to climb the cylinder, but first you have to stop it.

  • One character should hold down the lever, while the other runs across the cylinder to the back and the door. Don't go through it though!
  • Instead, go around and to the right to create the bridge for the second character, who can now let go over the lever.
  • Now go back and through the door to find a locker room. Be prepared for a jump scare if you plan on opening all of them, it still got me good even though I was expecting it. You’ll know you opened the right locker once you see some gas escape from it.
  • Against your better judgment, go inside and enter a secret room.
  • Walk forward to find the second secret mask in Reanimal beneath a sink. This one is a lot more disturbing than the first one.

Mask #3 Location

Continue going through the Mill until you manage to get outside again. This is the Trainyard, a new area of the game and the location of the third secret mask.

Follow the train tracks through the tunnel that leads you to an open yard area. You'll know you're in the right area if you see the broken handcar in the middle. You need to find the missing wheels in order to progress, but before doing that make sure to pick up the third mask.

  • There are three doors that you can go through, but only one of them doesn’t have a light on above it. That’s the door you want to go through.
  • Once inside, follow the short path toward a storage room. Here you will find the third secret mask in a crate under the table in the middle of the room.

Reanimal Masks FAQ

Do the masks give you any special abilities?

At least for now, the masks don't give you any benefits other then changing up the look of you characters and giving you a brief distraction from the gloomy atmosphere around you.

Can I change between my unlocked masks whenever I want?

Yes! Whenever you find a new mask, your character will automatically equip it, however you can change it back to any masks you unlocked just by pressing the menu button and navigating to the mask selection screen.

Can I go back and find the masks I missed?

While you can backtrack to a certain extent, the game has several points of no return, which will make it impossible for you to go back. So unless you want to reload a previous save game, make sure you explore properly and use our guides for help!
