Remnant 2 – How to invite friends

Every game is easier if you have friends to back you up, and Remnant 2 is no exception. This souls-like third-person shooter has been developed with multiplayer in mind. With its plethora of unique Archetypes classes, each player must contribute with their specialty for the team to survive. But as I started playing the game, I noticed that I was immediately dropped into a single-player level, with no option to call for backup. This guide will explain how to invite friends to your game of Remnant 2.

How to unlock Co-op in Remnant 2

To unlock Co-op in Remnant 2 and be able to play with your friends, you must first complete the game's tutorial level, which explains the basic game mechanics to you and establishes your character's storyline in the broken world of Ward 13. After the short briefing, you will unlock the World Stone, which enables you to travel between realms, partaking in co-op games with up to three players.

How to invite your friends into the game of Remnant 2

To invite your friends into a game session of Remnant 2 with you, follow the steps below:

• Enter the in-game menu.
•  Head over to the System tab on the top of the screen.
• Click on Game Session and choose Friends Only. This option will make your game session joinable and allow you to invite your friends into the game.
  •  Enter the Friends list on your platform and choose a friend you want to invite. If you're on PS5, you must start a party first by going to Game Base, selecting the Parties tab, and selecting Start Party. Send invites to your friends. Once they join your party, you can start a session with them.
  •  If playing on the PC, press Shift+F3 to pull up a friends list on the Epic client. Click on any friend you want to invite into the game.
  •  If you're on Xbox, Go to the Party and Chats menu and select the Start Party option. Choose the Invite More option to invite your friends to the party and start a session with them.

Playing Remnant 2 in single-player is certainly possible, but once you figure out how to invite your friends, the game will start to take shape, and hurdles like defeating the Bloat King will be much easier.
