Races in +1 Loot to Forge provide passive stat modifiers equipped to your character to permanently boost your combat and progression. You can equip up to 6 Race slots simultaneously, but their effects can be equipped one at a time. Currently there are 9 Races available across five rarities and you can only reroll to obtain them. But with limited number of rerolls, knowing what to get and what to avoid makes real difference in how fast you progress. So, here's a complete Race tier list to help you out.
How Do We Rank Races in Our +1 Loot To Forge Tier List?
Races are ranked based on the total value of their stat bonuses and how broadly applicable those stats are. Offensive stats like Skill Damage, Crit Rate, and Skill CD reduction are weighted higher than purely defensive or mobility stats since they directly accelerate progression. Here's a more detailed breakdown of each tier:
| Tier | Meaning | How Many |
|---|---|---|
| S | Best Races in the game. Exceptional across multiple stat categories, worth getting with rerolls | 2 |
| A | Strong Races with high-value stat packages, excellent targets at their rarity tier | 2 |
| B | Solid Races with useful bonuses, worth keeping in a slot until a better race is obtained | 2 |
| C | Below-average Races with limited or low-impact stats | 3 |

Which Races Are S Tier in +1 Loot To Forge?
| Race | Stat Buffs | Why This Tier |
|---|---|---|
| Angel [Mythic, 0.2%] | Train Boost +28% Skill CD -18% Skill Damage +20% Defense +23% Move Speed +25% Crit Rate +18% | + Angel has the highest combined stat total of any Race in the game. + It increases your offense, defense, speed, and cooldown reduction all at once. + The 28% Train Boost and 20% Skill Damage are the two best stats for progression. |
| Demon [Mythic, 0.4%] | Train Boost +25% Skill CD -15% Skill Damage +15% Defense +18% Move Speed +25% Crit Rate +25% | + Demon matches Angel in the number of active buffs and comes in at a slightly more accessible 0.4% roll chance. + Its Crit Rate bonus of 25% is actually the highest Crit stat of any single Race, which gives Demon a specific edge in crit-focused builds over Angel. + Skill CD reduction at -15% and 25% Train Boost keeps it on par in general use as well. The difference between Angel and Demon is marginal. |
Which Races Are A Tier in +1 Loot To Forge?
| Race | Stat Buffs | Why This Tier |
|---|---|---|
| Dragonkin [Legendary, 2.3%] | Train Boost +20% Crit Rate +11% Skill Damage +20% | + Dragonkin is the most well-rounded non-Mythic Race and the best option if you want steady progression gains without the near-impossible Mythic roll rates. + The combination of 20% Train Boost and 20% Skill Damage on a single Race is strong and both stats contribute directly to DPS. + Crit Rate at 11% adds a third useful bonus. Dragonkin competes closely with lower S Tier and is worth locking in a permanent slot. |
| Vampire [Epic, 5.6%] | Skill CD -14% Damage +12% | + Vampire is the best realistic race for most players at 5.6% roll chance it is more likely to drop than the Legendaries and Mythics. + It provides two genuinely impactful bonuses, i.e. Skill CD reduction at -14% is the second highest of any Race. + Damage at +12% applies to all damage output rather than just skills, making it useful overall. |
Which Races Are B Tier in +1 Loot To Forge?
| Race | Stat Buffs | Why This Tier |
|---|---|---|
| Void-Elf [Legendary, 1.5%] | TBA | + Void-Elf is Legendary rarity at 1.5% roll chance, which strongly implies it carries stat bonuses competitive with Dragonkin. - Specific buff values are still to be confirmed, but its placement above Skeleton based on the expected buffs of a Legendary race slot. |
| Skeleton [Uncommon, 24.6%] | Crit Rate +7% Damage +8% | + Skeleton provides two offensive stats in a single Race at Uncommon rarity, which gives it surprisingly strong value relative to its roll chance. - Does not have any support stats like Luck or Defense or even Train Boost. Only useful for combat. - Early on it is a solid filler for any slot not yet occupied by Vampire or better. |
Which Races Are C Tier in +1 Loot To Forge?
| Race | Stat Buffs | Why This Tier |
|---|---|---|
| Goblin [Uncommon, 25.7%] | Move Speed +12% Train Boost +8% | + Goblin's Train Boost is useful for progression but 8% is the second lowest Train Boost value in the game. - Move Speed has limited combat impact in most content and it does not scale into damage, cooldowns, or critical hits. - Both bonuses are outclassed by Skeleton's offensive double-stat package at a similar roll rate. |
| Yeti [Rare, 12.7%] | Defense +9% Luck +10% | + Yeti's Defense and Luck bonuses are the least impactful stat pair in the current roster. - Luck has unclear scaling in most progression contexts and Defense is rarely the bottleneck in +1 Loot To Forge. - Yeti's Rare rarity is above Goblins and Skeletons, but the actual buff package underperforms that expectation significantly. |
| Human [Common, 27%] | Train Boost +7% | + Human is the starter Race given to every new player and provides the lowest Train Boost stat bonus. - You should reroll it at the first opportunity with anything above Common. - The 27% roll rate makes Human the most common drop during rerolls. |
