In the latest 99 Nights in the Forest Update, the developers have added a new NPC character called the Furniture Trader. Indicative of the name, the Furniture Trader sells cosmetic items that can be placed in your camp to improve its overall aesthetic and only appears at certain times. So, if you are wondering when or how to find the Furniture Trader or his Respawn times, here is a detailed guide about it.
When does the Furniture Trader appear in 99 Nights in the Forest?
The Furniture Trader can appear on any random day during your gameplay. During my first run, he first appeared on Day 4, and then while playing again, he appeared on Day 6. So, he mostly arrives during the first week in the dangerous Forest.

If he appears, a server-wide notification will be displayed on the log stating, "The Furniture Trader is wandering through the forest today." Immediately, you can open your map to find an NPC wearing brown clothes and one-eyed glasses somewhere on the map. This is the icon for the Furniture Trader, allowing you to identify him among other POIs easily.
What are the Furniture Trader Respawn Locations?
Similar to the timing, the Furniture Trader can spawn anywhere on the map, i.e., there is no fixed location for the Furniture Trader. During my first run, I found him on the north side of the map near the Anvil. In other runs, I've seen him on the south side. So, you can only identify his exact location using a map. Once you find his location, you can travel straight to that area to see him along with his cart.
All Items Sold by the Furniture Trader

As mentioned earlier, the Furniture Trader sells cosmetic items for Gold Coins that can be placed in your camp to improve its overall aesthetic value.
Item Name | Rarity | Cost |
---|---|---|
Green Signpost | Common | 10 |
Purple Signpost | Common | 10 |
Wooden Stool | Common | 10 |
Purple Rug | Rare | 20 |
Sunflower | Rare | 20 |
Once you have purchased an item, you can go to your base and equip it from your inventory as a blueprint. Now, place it down anywhere to get the item in a jiffy.
Can you kill the Furniture Trader?
Yes, you can eliminate and kill a Furniture Trader in 99 Nights in the Forest. However, there's no value in it since he doesn't drop any rewards or unique items to help you survive in the game. So, it's better to leave the poor man alone with his horse.
