How to reach the Astral Observatory Pools?
As mentioned earlier, the Astral Observatory isn't a single location or island, but a set of six different pools spread across the map. You must fish in all these locations to complete the Bestiary. Below, I list all these pools and directions to reach them quickly.
Boreal Hollow Location
Indicative of its name, the Boreal Hollow is a secret cave on the Boreal Pines island at GPS (21385, 249, 3816). First, make your way to the Northern Expedition & then to Boreal Hollow Island. Here, travel north in a northeastern direction to locate the cave entrance.
Cryogenic Canal Astral Cavern Location
This is a secret location on the Northern Expedition itself. Reach the Cryogenic Canal, the third base camp on the island, and then go to the slope bridge at GPS (20047, 610, 5857). Here, you will find a cave entrance and a long drop. Jump down to find a brick at the corner and a dark space. Go through the dark space to reach the Astral Cavern.
Snowcap Bluemoon Astral Cavern Location
This is quite tricky as the Bluemoon only spawns during the Winter Season. Wait for the Winter Season to spawn on the server, and then go to Snowcap Island to purchase a Blue Moon Totem for 1,200,000 C$ at GPS (2717, 141, 2480). Once you have a Blue Moon, walk to GPS (2698, 188, 2563) to find the Blue Moon Door. Drop down to find another secret cave door that will take you to another Astral Cavern.
Abyssal Zenith Astral Cavern Location
This Astral Cavern is also tough to reach. Firstly, make your Submarine and enter the Marian's Veil. Here, you can find the main Abyssal Zenith Pool at the edge. Dive into the pool to find a dark opening at the bottom at GPS (-13774, -11179, 173) that leads to this secret location.
Everturn Forest Astral Cavern
As the title suggests, head to Everturn Forest using the on-screen marker. Here, go to the center to find the Everturn Forest Pond/waterfall area at GPS (2466, 140, -2618). Go through the opening on the left side to enter this Astral Cavern.
