Mariana's Awakening main Quest revolves around completing the 5 Individual tasks offered by the Ignis, Glacius, Tenebris, Luminis & Resonus NPCs at each Mariana's Veil Layer to open the Obsidian Trench. So, if you are wondering how to finish these quests, here is a detailed guide.

Complete Ignis Quest Guide - Mariana's Awakening
Ignis is the first NPC you have to meet for the Mariana's Awakening Quest. You can find the NPC standing opposite the Volcanic Rod at GPS (-3343, -2028, 4076) at Volcanic Vents. Interact with him, and he will give you the following quests.
- Quest 1: Perfect Catch 2 Ashen Fortune Charred Coelacanth with Volcanic Rod
- Quest 2: Catch 1 Ashen Fortune Obsidian-Plated Piranha with Volcanic Rod
To finish these quests, I recommend equipping the Mutated Sharky Companion along with your Volcanic Rod to increase your chances. Also, refer to the table below to see the requirements for the mentioned fish.

Complete Glacius Quest Guide - Mariana's Awakening
Next, go to Challenger's Deep. Once you arrive, you can meet the Glacius NPC at GPS (738, -3355, -1529), opposite the Challenger's Deep Rod. Like Ignis, he will also give you a set of quests to proceed further. I have listed those quests below, along with methods to complete them.
- Quest 1: Catch 3 Chilled Hoarfrost Halibut with Challenger's Rod
- Quest 2: Perfect Catch 1 Chilled Glacial Gulper with Challenger's Rod
Like the previous one, equip the Mutated Sharky and gulp down a Glitched potion, then use the Challenger's Rod to finish both quests using the table below.

Complete Tenebris Quest Guide - Mariana's Awakening
You can find the Tenebris NOC on the third level of Mariana's Veil (Abyssal Zenith) at GPS (-1043.4, -1043.7, 84.7). This is across the Anglerfish Pond, and it's better to glide than swim to avoid anglerfish attacks. Speak with him to get the following quest set.
- Quest 1: Catch 2 Wrath Lumin-Lure Lanternfish with Rod Of The Zenith
- Quest 2: Perfect Catch 1 Wrath Void-Drifter Jelly with Rod Of The Zenith
Use your Rod of the Zenith to fish for these two fish, which prefer the following conditions.
