The Octophant Pool spawns only in the Second Sea near the Lushgrove POI. You can make it appear by repeatedly spamming both the Smokescreen and Tempest Totem, one after the other. If it spawns, you will receive a server-wide notification saying, "An Elephant Octopus has spawned near Lushgrove." Drive around the coast of the Island to find a bubble Octophant with a small fishing area.

How to catch the Octophant Boss in Fisch

You cannot immediately start catching the Octophant Boss after the spawning of the Octophant Pool, as a large bubble will shield it. You can remove this bubble by collectively fishing 25 fish from the pool. After that, the bubble will burst, and you can start fishing for the Octophant, which has the following requirements.

  • Bait: Golden Worm
  • Weather: Clear
  • Time: Anytime
  • Season: Summer

Since this particular Fish has a -90% Progression. So, something like the Great Dreamer Rod or the Lagoon Rod would do the trick with something like Resilient Enchantment. If everything goes well, you will catch the Octophant fish with ease. Remember, there is only one Octophant per event. If you miss it, you have to wait for an entirely new event.
