After joining the Division in Type Soul, you must perform specific duties to improve your ranking. So, here is a list of all the division duties and their locations in Type Soul so you can complete these missions.

Every Division's Duties in Type Soul and their location

Currently, Type Soul features twelve division duties, each with unique challenges and rewards. Below, you'll find a detailed breakdown of each one, ready for you to conquer. After interacting with your commander, you will find the duty chart near the commander's vicinity. Read the duty chart to start the particular quest.

Division Duty 1 (Fire Icon)

Follow the Fire Icon to meet the Division 1 commander, a figure of authority who bestows the first division duty upon you. Your objective: venture into the Menos Forest, explore its depths, and uncover any signs of suspicious activities.

Division Duty 2 (Flower Icon)

Following the Flower Icon will directly lead you to the Division 2 commander. His quest revolves around assassinating targets, such as NPCs. It is a random quest, and the target varies from player to player.

Division Duty 3 (Wheel Icon)

To meet the Division 3 leader, follow the wheel icon on your screen. The duty mission is to rescue and escort NPC arcanars to safe locations.

Division Duty 4 (Rocket Icon)

To find the Division 4 commander, follow the rocket icon on your screen. The commander is Casey from Bleach. You must heal other players or NPC characters to a desired amount. Keep performing the task until you fulfill the given amount.

Division Duty 5 (Dojo Icon)

The next Division 5 commander is Kenny, and you can find him by following the dojo icon. The quest is to meet a Hallow at an rendezvous location and lower your hallow count in the game.

Division Duty 6 (Clock Icon)

The next Division commander is inside a semi-pool-like room with water. Follow the clock icon in the division area to find him. You can see the duty chart outside his room, which contains the mission to patrol Karakura Town.

Division Duty 7 (Teacher Icon)

The next Division commander, 7, is in the central part of the Division building. The NPC offers the quest to scatter and split up into small groups during a small siege mission.

Division Duty 8 (Tree Leaves Icon)

For the Division 8 commander, follow the Tree Leaves Icon in the right corner of the building. The NPC will ask you to delay the Hallow push and hold your grounds outside their base.

Division Duty 9 (Umbrella Icon)

You will meet the Division 9 commander by following the umbrella sign. This one is easy. He only asks to patrol around the Soul Society and maintain security.

Division Duty 10 (Hibiscus Flower Icon)

The marker of the Division is like a hibiscus flower, and you can follow the marker to find an NPC in the left room along a long hallway. His division duty revolves around further stopping the Hallow's push and killing as many Hallows as possible.

Division Duty 11(Samurai Hat Icon)

The Division Duty is correct at the center of the division building. Follow the Samurai Hat icon to locate him, and you will find him comfortably behind a desk. He will ask you to spar with him and show your swordsmanship. Basically, you have to win a 1v1 fight.

Division Duty 12 (Reverse Umbrella Icon)

Division Duty Commander 12 is at the exact location as Commander 9. After reaching there, he will ask you to do some research. So, play the technology mini-game, and you will overcome his challenges.

How to join a Division in Type Soul

To join the Division in Type Soul, you must first transform into a Shinigami or Soul Reaper. So, either find any existing Soul Reaper and try to obtain a blessing, or perform the quest requested by Kisuke NPC wearing a striped hat in the park location outside Karakura town.
