The Doors Floor 2 has finally been released. Along with the new level called The Mines, the developers have also added several new survival items like the Alarm Clock to the game. So, here is a guide explaining all the newly added items in Doors Floor 2 and their effects in the game.
Doors Floor 2 Items Guide
Below, I have mentioned all the newly added items in Doors Floor 2 and their use inside the game.
Alarm Clock
The Alarm Clock is a utility item in Doors Floor 2 that can distract any roaming monster like the Figure. As of now, the item can be found at the reception desk of Room 49 on the Hotel level right before entering Room 50. Simply wind up the key and place the alarm clock in the pathway of the roaming Figure to distract it while you make a run for the Library Puzzle section on the opposite side of the Room.
Bandage Pack
Indicative of its name, the Bandage Pack is nothing but a pouch that holds up to 10 bandages in the game. It is highly beneficial for people who play with friends or as a big party as it only holds a single slot. You can find the item randomly inside any container or locker in the game. Also, you can purchase the item for 100 coins from the game store.
Barrel of Starlight
The Barrel of Starlight is actually a replacement item for the Tablets in Doors Floor 2. You can get the item in room A-1000 on The Rooms map. Upon consuming the item, players will get up to 100 Health and gain a speed boost for the next 120 seconds.
Battery Pack
The Battery Pack is a newly added pouch that enables you to store up to 4 batteries in the game. This is a great way to store the batteries instead of wasting individual slots. You can purchase this item for 100 coins from the Jeff Shop.
Bulk Light
The Bulk Light is a giant flashlight that can illuminate a pretty large area and has a long range. Along with that, the battery life is also pretty good, as you can use the item for nearly 12 to 15 minutes in a single go. It is also a random item in the game.
Glowstick
The glowstick is a small light source in the game that can light up a tiny area. Along with that, you can use the item to hit Giggles whenever he tries to latch on to you or your friends. Remember, you cannot hold a glowstick in your hand after lighting it up, as the character model will throw the glowstick on the ground. You can mostly find glowsticks in lockers.
Laser Pointer
The Laser Point is another small light source used to light up a small area in Doors Floor 2. Though the light is tiny, it does not trigger any hanging gloombats and even blinds the trollers moving around. It is a very situational light that is useful in very dark rooms filled with gloombats. Another major highlight is that it consumes very little battery charge, allowing you to use the item for a long time. Similar to the Glowstick, the Laser Point lights also spawn a lot inside steel lockers, toolboxes, and drawers.
Possessed Candle
The Possessed Candle is a rare item in Doors Floor 2 that does not require any fire source like lighters or campfire to ignite it. You can obtain the item by finishing the Lost in Translation achievement, which requires you to transform a standard candle in Rift.
Shears
Shears are like scissors that help you cut open various loot boxes and treasure boxes in the game overridden with vines. At the moment, it takes up one inventory slot, and you can obtain the item randomly from the various lockers around the map. Remember, they can only be used for a certain time before they break permanently.
Straplight
The Straplight is a small piece of light that can be useful in small rooms. The best part is that you can use this item simultaneously with any other items in the game, allowing you to even double-stack lights if you are using another light source. You can get this item from random chests and lockers inside the game.
