In the 99 Nights in the Forest Halloween Week 2 Update, the developers have introduced a new feature called Potion Making. Indicative of its name, players can mix various ingredients to make potions, which players can then consume to get multiple effects. So, here is a list of the Potion Recipes in the game and their perks.
How to make Potions in 99 Nights in the Forest

To make Potions in 99 Nights in the Forest, you must use the Cauldron. By default, you can find the Cauldron next to your starter base while starting the game. Simply look for the ingredients on top of the base to identify the type, then look for those ingredients inside the game. If you have these ingredients, drop them one by one into the Cauldron to make the Potion.
What are the various Potions in 99 Nights in the Forest?
Firstly, you have to understand that there are no fixed recipes or combinations to get the exact outcome. What I mean is if you mix Ingredient A + Ingredient B to get a precise Potion. The Potion Making Update is an extension of the Halloween Update that allows users to earn more Candies beyond trick-or-treating.
So, basically, the Cauldron asks for various ingredients, collect these ingredients around the map, and put them inside it to get a random potion. Yes, the Potions are random and vary each time, even if you repeat the same ingredients. The effects provided by the Potion vary from getting extra coins to restoring health, and even a speed boost. There are also adverse effects, such as turning yourself into a frog or slowing down by tying a large iron ball to your leg. However, one thing is common: you will earn a lot of candies after each brewing session.
All Potion Making Ingredients and how to get them
Below, I have mentioned all the Ingredients in 99 Nights in the Forest and the methods to get them quickly.

Common Meat and Plant Ingredients
- Morsel - You can get this by eliminating the bunnies, wolf, frog, bear, or any animal roaming around the map.
- Bunny Foot - Eliminate any bunnies around your base to get the Bunny Foot
- Coal - You can find Coal around the map inside various buildings and other structures.
- Mackerel - Equip a fishing rod and fish from the pond to get the Mackerel.
- Steak - Steaks are usually dropped by wolves, bears, and other Giant Animals
- Berry - Pluck Berries hanging around the Berry Tree around the map.
Flower-Based Ingredients
All of the following Ingredients are obtained as Seeds from the Fairy living in her house. She uses flowers scattered across the map as currency to make these purchases. So, pluck 20 to 50 on the way to her home. After purchasing the flower seed, it will be automatically planted in its biome.
- Dripleaf - The Dripleaf will be available near the pond or water areas after purchasing.
- Moonflower - The Moonflower will spawn all around the map, but can only be plucked during the night after purchasing.
- Stareweed - The Stareweed can only be plucked if you point the flashlight at it after purchasing.
- Cave Vine - This grows in underground bunkers or caves, in case you have purchased.
- Mandrake Plant - You can find the Mandrake Plant near the Halloween Houses.
