As part of the Summer Fish Fest Event in Anime Expeditions, players can equip fishing rods from their inventory and start reeling in fish from the various bodies of water around the map for valuable rewards. So, if you are wondering what the benefits of fishing are, how to catch a particular fish, or don't have a clue how even to throw a rod, here is a detailed guide to fishing in Anime Expeditions.

How to use a fishing Rod in Anime Expeditions

The first step to fishing in Anime Expeditions is to obtain a rod. By default, every player will receive the Normal Rod in their inventory. Simply press the Toggle Fishing Rod icon on the bottom left of the screen to equip your Rod.

Now, go to any body of water in the lobby and left-click to throw the line. Wait for a few seconds, and when a fish bites the line, the fishing mini-game will start, which requires you to keep the block underneath the moving fish icon using your mouse. The controls are pretty simple: press the mouse to move your block to the right, and release the mouse to tilt it to the left. Use this to track the icon until the progress bar at the bottom fills and you catch the fish.
