Blade Ball developers announce video contest that awards a cash prize

Blade Ball has been dominating the Roblox platform since its release in Aug. 2023, with nearly a quarter of a million users playing the experience at any given time. To continue growing this success, the developers have announced a limited-time-only competition that invites users to create a video on the social media platform TikTok, and promises to award the user with the most views by Oct. 31, 2023, a cash prize of $10,000 USD.

This competition opened on Oct. 17, 2023, and, as mentioned above, will close on Oct. 31, 2023. Any video posted within that time period with the hashtag Blade Ball in the caption (appearing as #bladeball) will be entered into the competition, and those who link the Blade Ball game page in their TikTok bio will be eligible for the prize. To have your video considered, you must have both the hashtag in the video and the experience linked in your bio.

It's not mentioned that the video must specifically reference Blade Ball, or even relate to it at all, but so far the videos leading in views all contain clips from the experience itself. At the time of this article's publication, the video with the most views has over half a million, but the creator does not have Blade Ball linked in their bio, which would disqualify them from participating should they neglect to add it before the competition's end date.

The creators of the second and third most viewed videos will receive prizes as well, with the second place finisher set to receive $5,000 USD, and the third place finisher set to receive $2,500 USD. The official winners will be announced by Blade Ball developers on Nov. 11, 2023.
