Update 30 Patch Notes – Magnet Fruit & Sea 1 Secrets

Blox Fruits Update 30 is one of the biggest updates of 2026. Every one of the 16 islands in Sea 1 has been reimagined with refreshed bosses, and the sea is now stuffed with new quests, puzzles, and boss fights in the form of Secrets. On top of that, you get the brand-new Magnet Fruit, an hourly Magnetic world event, a fresh gacha, and a stack of quality-of-life upgrades.

The New Magnet Fruit

The headline addition in Update 30 is the Magnet Fruit, and every one of its abilities plays off the pull and push of magnets. It runs on a scrap-collecting passive that powers up the rest of the kit, and it comes with a full transformation on top.

Passive and Pull

  • Magnetic Power: This passive charges up as you gather scrap, and your arms visibly grow as it fills. It runs across three stages, and each stage boosts your M1 damage, lengthens the M1 combo, and adds extra defense. Taking hits drains the meter, and enough damage can knock you back down a stage.
  • Magnetic Pull: From stage two onward, nearby enemies are dragged toward you. At stage three, the pull hits harder and covers a wider radius.

Base Moveset

  • Z: Tapping fires magnetic projectiles that reel enemies in and stack up, building both the area of effect and the pull. Holding it instead sends out a beam that deals bonus damage on a direct hit.
  • X: Locks enemies inside a magnetic cage. Hold the key for more damage and a larger range.
  • C: Tapping yanks a target into the air and slams them back down, and it works even without a target locked. Holding it pulls in and absorbs every piece of scrap around you.
  • F: Tapping is a grab that forcibly unequips the target's sword. Holding it starts free flight, with your abilities still usable in the air. Getting hit several times within 10 seconds cuts the flight short, and tapping F again while airborne fires the jetpack straight at an enemy.

Maximum Overdrive Transformation

While transformed you take heavily reduced damage, guns barely scratch you, and lightning attacks hit you for more.

  • Z: Tapping launches aim-assisted missiles, while holding fires one massive blast.
  • X: Holding creates a Magnetic Room that drags enemies back to the center every time they try to dash out, damaging them in the process. The tap version was not shown in the reveal.
  • C: Tapping scoops up scrap and slams it into the ground for heavy area damage, while holding spins you into a helicopter attack. Both X and C lock you in and cannot be cancelled while transformed.
  • F: Tapping strips the swords off everyone caught in it, and holding gives you a much faster flight for getting around.
  • V: Ends the transformation. The mech stays behind, pulls in nearby enemies, and self-destructs.

You can pick up the Magnet Fruit from the Shop for 2300 Robux, or find it out in the world and at the Fruit Shop like any other fruit.

Sea 1 Rework & Secrets

Every island in Sea 1 has been rebuilt for Update 30, and the changes go well beyond a fresh coat of paint.

  • All 16 Sea 1 islands have been reimagined and redesigned.
  • Every Sea 1 boss has been refreshed, and bosses now hide a secret awakened mode.
  • The Gacha Dealer has relocated to Middletown.
  • Sea 1 now hides Secrets: small puzzles, randomly spawning quests, or awakened boss fights that pay out rewards when completed. There are 40 new ones scattered across the reworked islands.
  • Clearing Secrets grants Secret levels, which let you climb past the usual grind cap of 2800. Finishing all of the current secret levels pushes the cap up to 3000.
  • A World Map has been added to the HUD so you can jump between islands and track your secret completion progress. It unlocks once you finish your first secret.
  • A Secrets Master NPC has arrived in Sea 1, and they are sitting on a special secret of their own.

Magnet Event & Magnet Gacha

Update 30 also brings a recurring world event tied to a brand-new gacha.

  • Every hour, right at the XX:00 mark, Magnetic enemies spawn across the world powered up with Magnet abilities. Take them down to collect Magnet Tokens.
  • Spend those Magnet Tokens at the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer to roll the new Magnet Gacha.
  • The Magnet Gacha holds uncommon or better fruits, one profile background, two accessories, a secret reward, and a shot at a skinned fruit from the chase reward tier.

The chase reward tier includes:

  • Lime Blade
  • Topaz Diamond
  • Scarlet Ghost
  • Yellow Lightning
  • Starlight Gravity
  • Runic Fiend
  • Arcsteel Magnet

If you would rather chase those directly, rolls from this tier are also available in the shop as the Chromatic Gacha Box.

Quality of Life Changes

A batch of interface and convenience upgrades landed alongside the big additions.

  • New NPC dialogue UI.
  • New loading screen and team selection screen.
  • Reworked HUD and stats menu.
  • Reworked Player Profile with new tabs, friend indicators, and a search option.
  • Weapon Dealers now let you examine weapons before you buy them.
  • Boat Dealers now let you preview the ships you have unlocked.
  • Boss drops are now previewed as you approach a boss.

New Gacha Rolls

Finally, the Gacha Dealer's pool has grown.

  • Dragon East and Dragon West are now rollable at the Blox Fruits Gacha Dealer.
