The Void Boss Event has arrived in Ride a Pet, bringing a mysterious new challenge for players. From confronting the powerful Dark Spirit to collecting rare Feathers and discovering exclusive rewards, there is plenty to look forward to. However, to get the most out of this event, you need to know where to go and what to expect, so here's everything you need to know in our complete Ride a Pet Void Boss Event Guide!
How to Defeat the Void Boss Dark Spirit in Ride a Pet?

To defeat the Void Boss in Ride a Pet, called the Dark Spirit, first travel to the Heaven's Gate base, a small island that floats high in the sky above the regular bases. You can only get there using some flying pets. Once you arrive, take the portal to the boss room, located in the corner of Heaven. Enter it once it opens, and you can fight the Dark Spirit. Defeating him involves traveling through rings, which will deal damage to him as you do so.
First, the portal isn't open all the time; it activates periodically. Precisely one minute before that happens, a server-wide message will appear at the top of the screen, notifying you of this event. Only then can you enter and defeat the Void Boss.
The Void Boss has 8000 HP and, as mentioned, must be defeated by traveling through rings scattered across the boss room. These rings are divided into three categories: Easy, Medium, and Hard, with them dealing 75, 150, and 225 damage as you pass through, respectively. Their difficulty also depends on their size; easy rings are large and easy to pass through, while hard ones are very small and can be tricky to pass through. This matters because you must pass through several rings in a row to prevent the boss from fighting back. This is called chaining the rings, and we recommend taking your time with the easy ones to make sure you can kill the Void Boss. If you are careful and have decently speedy, preferably mutated pets, you should be able to clear him in no time.
What are the Feathers in Ride a Pet?

Feathers in Ride a Pet are the main reward for defeating the Void Boss (Dark Spirit). Each boss takedown yields 250 Feathers, which you can later trade in for some exclusive rewards. However, to get them, you need to complete two full ring chains while fighting the Void Boss. This is another reason we recommend going for Easy Rings, as they are much easier to chain, even though passing through any ring deals damage to the Void Boss. Additionally, when you defeat the boss, you also get a mastery point, with additional mastery points awarded based on how many ring chains you complete.
What are the Void Boss Event Rewards in Ride a Pet?

When you are at the Heaven's Gate base, you can redeem Void Boss event rewards by spending your hard-earned Feathers. You can do so by interacting with the "mastery" button on the left side of your screen, represented by a feather icon. Also, even though each reward costs a certain amount of Feathers, you'll need to increase your mastery tier to access it. Every subsequent reward increases the tier required by 1. With that said, you can find all of the rewards and their details from the Void Boss event in Ride a Pet in the table below:
| Reward | Price in Feathers | Mastery Tier Needed |
|---|---|---|
| Blackhole Egg | 150 | 1 |
| Instant Hatch Key | 250 | 2 |
