The Roguelike Dungeons game mode revolves around clearing enemies in a wave/floor like format. To do this, you must build a build from the array of cards provided at the start of each floor, which give new skills, weapons & stats. Clearing floors gives players Tokens, which they can use in the shop to get cosmetic accessories.
Roguelike Dungeons is a game mode in Slayers 2 that can confuse new players because it lacks proper in-game tutorials. So, if you are one of those perplexed players wondering how to play the mode or what rewards you can earn, here is a detailed guide.
How to Start Roguelike Dungeon Game Mode in Slayers 2

To play the Roguelike Dungeon Game Mode in Slayers 2, press the Hub button in the main menu. In the game mode list, select the Ouwigahara Roguelike option to queue. Once you connect to a server, the game mode will start.
How to play the Roguelike Dungeon Game Mode in Slayers 2
The Roguelike Dungeon is similar to the normal dungeon mode, where your objective is to clear enemies in wave/floor like format. For starters, you'll see "Roguelike" displayed at the top, and you'll play as a Hybrid with a separate health bar. Your Fist, Sword, and Level Mastery are all set to 150, but you won't have access to any skills, stats, skill trees, or equipment. You'll start with only your Fist and Katana.

So, how do you fight & survive? This is where the Roguelike system comes in. Every few minutes, you'll be presented with a selection of cards, each offering a different set of skills, weapons, and stats to help you construct your build. As a Hybrid, you can choose up to three Demon Skills and three Slayer Skills. Choose powerful cards that fit the situation and your playstyle to clear waves of enemies and progress.
How to reach higher floors in Roguelike Dungeon Game Mode in Slayers 2
Beyond your fighting skills, the most important factor in reaching higher floors in Roguelike Dungeon is the cards you pick up along the way, as they make or break your builds. Below are some tips and tricks to keep in mind when picking your Cards.
- Always focus on Cards that improve your damage stat, weapon refinement, and damage reduction. These should be your go-to Cards at the start, before shifting your focus to others.
- While picking moves, try to pick cards that give some sort of AOE skill or attack. It is extremely useful for clearing tough mobs in later stages.
- Try to get the Cartographer Card as early as possible, since it lets you choose a map. The main reason is that certain maps have elevation points you can easily reach and cheese enemies with a single strong AOE move.
- Avoid Healing or Trophy Points cards as much as possible unless you are in dire need of Health.
All Rewards from the Roguelike Dungeon Game Mode
The Roguelike Dungeon Game Mode provides a set number of Ouwigahara Tokens for clearing every 10 floors. The amount increases as you reach higher floors. In total, you can earn 42 Tokens for reaching the Summit (100th floor) and clearing it successfully.

| Level | Tokens |
|---|---|
| 10th Floor | 1 |
| 20th Floor | 1 |
| 30th Floor | 2 |
| 40th Floor | 2 |
| 50th Floor | 3 |
| 60th Floor | 4 |
| 70th Floor | 5 |
| 80th Floor | 6 |
| 90th Floor | 8 |
| 100th Floor | 10 |
After finishing a game, you can return to the start of the portal area, where you'll find a shop with cosmetic outfit accessories you can buy with Ouwigahara Tokens. While the Mask & Helm are overpriced, I suggest getting the Blossom Crest Haori for 200 Tokens, as it's the best item in the shop.
| Item Name | Cost (Tokens) |
|---|---|
| Cross Visor Mask | 120 |
| Lone Horn Helm | 120 |
| Faceless Helm | 120 |
| Blossom Crest Haori | 200 |
| Desert Prowler Outfit | 320 |
