Dead Spells Class Tier List Ranking Factors
- Passives: Some classes can't use magic items, can't regenerate HP, or have a friendly relation with some type of creatures. These passive effects can be either OP or useless.
- Stat Modifiers: Most classes have positive/negative modifiers for some of the stats. Generally, damage and speed-related stats are the most important.
- Starting Items: Some classes have extremely strong items right from the start, making the early parts of the run trivial.
- Price: In the tier list above, we ranked all classes in Dead Spells regardless of their price. So, it's generally better to get the best lower-priced classes first and progress with them.

How to Change Your Class in Dead Spells

To change your class in Dead Spells, go to the Class Shop (magical orb-looking statue in the lobby) and interact with it. The Class Shop serves both for class selection and class acquisition. There are two ways to get a new class:
Rerolling
The less expensive way to change your class in Dead Spells is to reroll it. Each roll costs 10 Burgers, and there is also a pity system (guaranteed Common+ class every 10 rolls). You also get to choose whether to keep your old class or the new one on each roll. However, classes obtained like this aren't permanent (you lose them when you reroll).
Buying
The more expensive and intended way of obtaining classes in Dead Spells is to buy them. Each class has a price in Burgers indicated on the left. To buy a class, click on it and then press Buy on the right. When you obtain a class this way, it will be permanently unlocked and you'll always be able to switch to it without rerolling.
