Deadly Delivery Forest Update Map

This update adds a brand new level to Deadly Delivery, The Underground Forest. Unlike the mostly cramped hallways you're used to, this is a very open area that at first feels like a different game. It's a lot larger than the levels before, so thankfully, the game gives you a lot more time to loot everything that you need.

Aside from loot containers such as barrels or wardrobes, you'll see a lot of houses around the map where you'll find most of the food. They also provide protection against entities, including one of the newest, Guest 666exclusive to The Underground Forest. With the map being as large as it is, the teleporter will be your new best friend here.

To get to The Underground Forest level, you'll need to survive until you reach floor 18, which is a lot easier to do when playing with other people, so avoid solo runs if you want to see the new content. The floor arrangement has received an overhaul, so as you go down, you'll be going through:

  • The Surface level for floors 1-3.
  • The Industrial level for floors 4-10.
  • The Deep level for floors 11-17.
  • The Underground Forest level for floors 18-30.

Entities Added in Deadly Delivery Forest Update

Two new entities were added with the Forest update, making your food retrieval more difficult. Those two are:

EntityDescription
SneakratThe Sneakrat will try to steal items from you, either directly from your hand or by sneaking into the elevator and robbing your food delivery stash, so you'll want to be closing the elevator doors. While he's harmless in the sense that he won't attack you directly, he can give you a major headache if he steals something valuable from you.

Once he takes something, he runs away and tries to eat it. You can attack him to make him drop the food, but he will become aggressive and attack back. Upon death, he has a chance to drop a piece of cheese.
Guest 666You might recognize this entity if you've played Forsaken. Guest 666 is exclusive to The Underground Forest and will be your main obstacle down there. It's a giant behemoth that charges at you if it spots you, dealing major damage with each hit.

Your best bet is to run away and hide, either in a house or in your elevator, since it's too big to go inside. You can wait for it to get bored and go away, or you can try attacking it while in the safe space, but it will take a lot of hits, and it won't drop any loot for your trouble currently.

New Class in Deadly Delivery Forest Update

This update also adds a new class to the game, the Escape Artist. You can unlock her after you rescue Nora, and by spending 2500 of the in-game currency. The Escape Artist starts each run with a box, and as the name suggests, all her perks help you escape each run alive. She gives you:

  • A 10% stamina regeneration boost at level one, making it easier to sprint around the map.
  • Gives a 50% increase to your adrenaline-triggered movement speed at level two, allowing you to escape enemies before they get a chance to attack again.
  • One free revival per round at level three, which can be the difference between you getting out and losing everything.

While the Escape Artist can zoom around the map and has some perks that can come in clutch at specific moments, I don't feel like she offers enough benefits most of the time, so unless you really like putting yourself in danger all of the time, I'd suggest using one of the other classes. If you want to see how they all compare to one another, check out our Deadly Delivery Class Tier List.

New Items & Features

There are five new food items that you can loot during your runs, along with two new gadgets that you can either loot or buy in the elevator vending machine or at the gear seller NPC before each run. Those items are:

ItemInfo
A Pufferfish
Rare item
You can use it as an improvised weapon, and it makes a funny sound when you pick it up.
Jelly Beans
Common item
It can be eaten, giving you a random buff or debuff. Exclusive to The Underground Forest.
Grapes
Uncommon item
Exclusive to The Underground Forest.
Potato
Common item
Exclusive to The Underground Forest.
Giant Squid
Legendary item
Exclusive to The Underground Forest.
Stun Grenade
Gear item
Blinds and stuns everything around when it explodes, you and your teammates included, if you're not careful.
Random Teleporter
Gear Item
Teleports you to a random location on the map when you use it.

The Forest update also adds some much-wanted quality of life features to the game, which include:

  • The reconnect system - This allows you to return to a multiplayer game if you get disconnected for any reason. Works only up to two times to prevent any abuse, and sadly, doesn't work when you're playing single-player.
  • Player stats boards - There's a board that tracks cool stats about your food delivery career so far, as well as leaderboards that show off the top players. You can find these in the lobby, next to the food truck.
  • Elevator improvements - The size of the elevator has been increased, so it doesn't feel cramped with four players, and the evacuation button now requires you to hold it for one second to prevent any accidental ends to your successful runs.
