GHOUL RE Controls List

You can find all the GHOUL RE controls in the table below. Note that devouring is a Ghoul-only ability, and it's how you mainly earn RC and increase hunger as a Ghoul. So, be sure to use devouring instead of regular grips as a Ghoul. Also, to open/close doors and loot boxes, unlock your camera and click on them with your left mouse button.

Where to Buy Clothes & Stop Freezing in GHOUL RE

There are three locations in GHOUL RE where you can buy clothes to stop freezing: Anteiku, CCG Base, and the Clothing Store. In the list below, you can find details on all three locations, and if you find the door to any of them closed, just click on it with your M1 to open it. Also, click P to show POI UI and see their locations.

  • Anteiku: Ghouls can buy outfits here on the 2nd floor, to the right of the coffee vendor.
  • CCG Base: There are three outfits CCG can buy on the second floor. They are relatively expensive and have CCG rank requirements.
  • Clothing Store: Both CCG and Ghouls can shop for clothes here, and the prices are low.

GHOUL RE Quick CCG/Quinque Progression Guide

Progression as a CCG is less straightforward than for Ghouls as you'll have to craft better Quinque instead of rerolling them like Kagune. Here is our short guide on how to progress as a CCG member and get all the OP Quinque ASAP:

  1. Enter the CCG Base and talk to the receptionist to join the CCG (spam first dialogue options).
  2. Buy one of the three Standard Issue Quinque on the top floor of the base for 100 Yen (Spear is the best). They are in the corner next to the NPC that's leaning on the wall.
  3. Complete missions (Help Your Faction, Eating Ghoul, and Bosses Fighting are best) and events until you reach Rank 1 Investigator and have at least 2,500 Yen.
  4. Talk to the briefcase NPC on the top floor to get a Briefcase, which you can use to get a normal Quinque from a downed Ghoul.
    • Stand next to a downed Ghoul, unequip your weapon, and then use the Briefcase from your inventory to collect the Quinque.
  5. Continue doing missions, events, and raids, and collect and use Blueprints to learn new Quinque recipes.
  6. Collect resources and craft new Quinque to increase your strength.
    • You can bank your old Quinque using the crafting bench on the right inside the Lab.

GHOUL RE Quick Ghoul/Kagune Progression Guide

Ghoul progression in GHOUL RE is way simpler than the CCG one, and it literally boils down to downing and devouring as many players and NPCs as you can. Here is our short guide on how to progress as a Ghoul and get all the OP Kagune ASAP:

  1. Pick a mission from the mission board near Anteiku (Help Your Faction and Bosses Fighting are the best) and start doing missions to gain rank up progress and EXP.
    • As a Ghoul, you must devour downed enemies (Ctrl + B) to gain RC. Gripping them with just B won't give you anything but EXP.
  2. Continue doing missions until you have 5,000 RC. Then drop to below 50% HP to unlock your Kagune.
  3. Reroll your Kagune using the Ghoul Point Exchange (click Shop on the top left and then Ghoul Point Exchange below the shop menu to access it).
    • Each Kagune reroll costs 20 Ghoul Points, and you can get more from codes/events.
    • Check out our Kagune/Quinque tier list to see which Kagune are the best.
  4. Do missions and events until you reach B+ grade to unlock all your Kagune moves.
  5. Continue ranking up, eating Rinkaku/Koukaku/Ukaku/Bikaku Fragments and Kagune Sacs, and collecting RC (150-350K RC, depending on Kagune rarity) to meet your Kagune's V2 requirements.
  6. After you've done the previous things, you'll also need to devour another Ghoul who has at least 1/3rd of your RC to unlock the V2.

How to Start Boss Raids in GHOUL RE

Raids are a unique type of boss content in GHOUL RE where you can earn equipment, exclusive Quinque crafting recipes, and extremely rare materials. To start a raid, you'll need to be max rank and pay 5,000 Yen. Talk to the NPC behind the CCG Base building to start the raid, and you can do it with up to 8 people in the squad.

How Events Work in GHOUL RE

Events start every 10/30/60 minutes, depending on their type, and are your best source of Ghoul Points in GHOUL RE. Also, you'll need to do them to gain event EXP and event participation needed for rank-up progress. Here are details on each event type and how to complete it:

  • Capture the Point (spawns every 10 minutes): Stand on points around the map for 100 seconds each to capture them. The rewards are pretty meh, but they count towards rank-up progress.
  • Faction Raids (spawn every 30 minutes): Pits you against the members of the other faction to participate in PvP. There are three sub-modes: Invasion, Artifact Hunt, and Jason's Birdcage.
  • Permadeath (spawns every 60 minutes): Your slot is wiped if you die. Rewards for all events, missions, and player/NPC kills are massively increased, and players drop all their loot on death.

All Key Map Locations in GHOUL RE

Here are the outlines of all the key locations in GHOUL RE. We excluded some, like the Library and certain NPC locations, as they don't actually provide any utility; they just exist as decoration for now.

CCG Base - Main CCG Hub

If you’re playing GHOUL RE as a Human, the CCG Base is your primary hub. Here, you can accept missions, take on bounties, check your rank-up progress, purchase clothes, and buy/craft Quinque, which are all essential for progressing and enhancing your character. Here are the most notable NPCs and locations inside the CCG Base:

  • Saiyo Natsuki (receptionist; bottom floor): Talk to her to join the CCG and check your rank-up progress and reputation.
  • Investigator Asahi (top floor; next to the outfits): Gives you the Stalking quests.
  • Faye Sasaki (top floor; on the couch with the briefcases): Gives you a briefcase to extract a Quinque from a Ghoul.
  • Damir D. Mado (top floor; behind Faye Sasaki): Talk to him to craft One Eyed Kakuja Fragment and Arata-Proto.
  • Lab (interact with an elevator to go there): You can craft and store Quinque here using the two workbenches in the 2nd biggest room.

Anteiku - Main Ghoul Hub

Anteiku is the main hub for Ghouls in GHOUL RE. Here, you can drink coffee to restore HP, buy clothes, take on missions and quests, and check your rank-up progress. Note that Anteiku doesn't have PvP protection, and CCG can invade you there. Here are the most notable NPCs and locations inside the Anteiku:

  • Hanazuki (right corner of the shop): Tells you the rank-up requirements and progress.
  • Amaya Sasaki (at the bar): Gives you coffee, which buffs your stats and regenerates HP.
  • Saiyo Natsuki (bent over on a railing): Gives you a delivery quest.

Helter Skelter - Mission Board

The Helter Skelter is the shared hub for both Ghouls and CCG. Here, you can check your rank-up requirements, take missions, and drink cocktails at the bar upstairs to regenerate your Hunger. Besides that, there really isn't much else to do at Helter Skelter.

Park - How to Sell Trinkets (Don't Do It)

At the Park, you can find an NPC that will buy all trinkets (crafting materials for CCG) and give you Yen in return. Doing this is generally bad as a CCG because you'll need all the materials for Quinque crafting. As a Ghoul, you can sell all the materials that can't be banked and transferred to a CCG character, although the Yen you gain isn't much. Also, don't sell Fragments; eat them instead to get more RC.

Clothing Store - How to Buy Clothes

The Clothing Store offers the most diverse selection of clothes, and at bargain prices, too. Once you've gathered at least 100 Yen, be sure to stop by and purchase an outfit to stop your character from freezing.

Art Studio - How to Get a Mask as a Ghoul

The Art Studio is useful only to Ghouls, and this is where you can buy a mask to conceal your identity on the leaderboard and display your name. It's an extremely useful item, though you'll need to have a B+ grade or higher to use it. Once you get a mask, press L to equip it. If the door to the Art Studio is closed, click it with your M1 to open it.

Bank - How to Store and Transfer Items

The Bank is a location where you can store your items so you can use them on your other slots. To do that, talk to the bank receptionist inside. Also, note that most items can't be banked, but Blueprints can. So, if you have some on your Ghoul slot, transfer them to your CCG slots and use them to learn new Quinque crafting recipes.

Hospital - How to Check RC as a Ghoul

The Hospital is where Ghoul faction members can check their current RC count. RC is important as that's the main prerequisite for getting Kagune V2s and also hugely affects your strength and healing. If you're a CCG, the Hospital isn't really useful.

How Stats and Skill Trees Work in GHOUL RE

There are three skill/stat trees for you to upgrade as you progress in GHOUL RE, and upgrading them will net you bonus damage and survivability. Also, each tree has unique skills that will add to your kit. Each time you rank up, you'll get 5 skill points to spend on upgrades. Here is what each skill tree does and its pros and cons.

StatPassive EffectDescription
StrengthIncreases M1 damage. The extra M1 damage is extremely important, and it also has melee moves that easily combo with almost everything in the game.
DexterityIncreases Perfect Dodge frames. The Perfect Dodge frames can be useful if you struggle with timing. The skills from this tree provide mostly mobility, utility, and CC.
MasteryIncreases Kagune/Quinque skill damage.Has skills that buff your abilities as a CCG/Ghoul and buffs your skill damage in general. It's arguably the most important skill tree to upgrade.

How to Get and Use Equipment in GHOUL RE

Equipment is arguably the hardest thing to grind in GHOUL RE. To get equipment, you'll need to defeat bosses in raids and compete in events. The equipment drops and their passive bonuses are completely random, though the bonuses are always in the 1-5% range. You can equip and unequip gear in the Equipment tab by clicking M and then selecting Equipment.

How to Use Ghoul Points (Ghoul Point Exchange) in GHOUL RE

Ghoul Points are a rare currency in GHOUL RE, which you'll get by participating in events and redeeming codes. To use them, click on the shop in the top left and then on Ghoul Point Exchange below the shop menu. The most important items to buy here are Kagune Type Reroll (if you're a Ghoul) and Wipe Character, in case you want to reroll your clan for free.

And that does it for our ultimate GHOUL RE beginner's guide. For more in-depth guides for this Roblox experience, including our Quinque and Kagune tier list, be sure to check out the GHOUL RE hub here on Pro Game Guides.
