Horror follow-up Roblox Doors: Floor 2 announced with a top-notch trailer

The second part is coming soon!

After the release of the teaser earlier this month, LSPlash now has finally announced a release date for their upcoming Doors Floor 2: The Mines game with a kickass trailer that shows a lot of exciting gameplay stuff, including a rideable cart feature!

Starting from August 30, 2024, you can enjoy playing Doors Floor 2: The Mines on the Roblox platform. It is a significant relief for the hardcore fans of the game, as the developers have been teasing the development of this title for nearly two years, which actually feels like an eternity when you compare the release patterns of other popular Roblox Games installments.

In case you don't know what Roblox Doors Floor 2: The Mines is, it is actually the second game in the popular Doors series, where the main objective is to evade monsters and explore all the Doors to reach the exit. From the trailer, the upcoming Doors: Floor 2 The Mines also follows the same formula with a different theme. Here, the players are actually trapped inside an abandoned Mine instead of the Hotel, as shown in Part 1, and must make their way out by exploring the Mine section and solving puzzles with their friends while escaping from all the hidden dangers in the underground area.

My favorite part of the trailer was the showcasing of the cart and hiding features in the game. After looking at the teaser at the start of this month, I intitally thought that the cart would be a non-interactable item and was included to scale the immersion value. But that completely changed as the new release trailer showcased players riding on it to travel from section to section, providing an entirely new set of opportunities for players to evade monsters and travel within sections instead of walking on foot.

The hiding mechanics also look much more polished than the first part in terms of interaction, as there have been several bugs in the past that prevented players from hiding at the right moment in the original game.

Speaking about the monsters, only a few glimpses of two creatures were shown in the trailer. The first looked similar to the famous Figure creature, and the other looked like an Ambush entity. We are curious to know if they are the upgraded versions of the same animals or entirely new creatures. I hope they are new entities; otherwise, it will be the generic Doors gameplay in a different setting. Join the LSPLASH developer's page to start playing the game directly when it releases at the end of next month.
