The One Piece inspired Roblox experience Blox Fruits allows players to transform into a variety of unique Races all with their own features and abilities—from Human to Fishman; Sky to Mink, the customization options from player to player are a hefty part of what makes Blox Fruits so popular. So, how do you become a new Race if you want to change into something different? Continue reading our brief guide below to learn more.
How to get a new Race in Blox Fruits
At the time of this article's publication, there's only two ways that players can change their race: by purchasing a Race Change using Robux, or by paying Fragments to the NPC Norp. For a closer look at each of these options, continue reading below.
Race Change
If you're short on time but loaded on Robux, purchasing the Race Change item from the in-game store for 90 Robux is likely your best option. It's important to mention, however, that this item works automatically and will randomly reset your Race to any of the four available options, Human, Mink, Sky, or Fishman, meaning that there is a possibility that you will receive the same Race that you already have equipped. Use your Robux at your own risk!
Paying Norp
Norp is an NPC that can be found in The Café and will reroll your character's Race for 3,000 Fragments. Similar to purchasing the Race Change item, players can only become one of the four standard Races when purchasing rerolls from Norp—Cyborg and Ghoul can only be obtained through their respective quests.
Special events
In the past, there have also been other random ways for players to change their Race, but they haven't stuck around long enough to be fully detailed in this guide. To list them briefly:
- During the Update 13 Christmas Event, players could trade 90 Candies to the Magic Elf in exchange for Race reroll.
- During the Update 16 Halloween Event, players could trade 300 Bones to the Death King in exchange for a Race reroll.
- During the Update 17 Christmas Event Part One, players could trade 100 Candies to the Magic Elf in exchange for Race reroll.
