How to clear your fame in Arcane Odyssey – Roblox

Because Arcane Odyssey is a story-based MMORPG, it invites you to create your own story as you play. Of course, there are many ways you can choose to go about this. You can fashion yourself as a great hero, an explorer, or many other things. Notably, if you choose to perform ill deeds on your journey, you can accrue a bounty, causing your fame to rise in Arcane Odyssey. This can be quite detrimental to you, so if you have a bounty and are looking for ways to get rid of it, read on below.

How to get rid of a bounty in Roblox Arcane Odyssey

There are actually two methods for clearing a bounty from your character. One of these ways is much quicker but less effective and is costly, while the other way can take longer but is 100% effective and costs less money.

Combat Logging

The first of these methods is called Combat Logging. Combat Logging in Arcane Odyssey is when you initiate combat and then log out of the game mid-combat. If you have a bounty, doing this will cause your fame to decrease by 1,700 per Combat Log. However, upon logging back in you will find you are missing quite a few Galleons, as the game taxes you for using this method. Since this method allows you to clear a certain level of fame instantly, it is the much faster method for clearing a bounty, but it comes with a hefty monetary cost and might take multiple attempts to fully clear your fame.

The receptionists

The second method for clearing your bounty is to find one of two receptionists. Specifically, there are two receptionists that can clear bounty. These two receptionists can be found on two different islands, those being Whitesummit and Silverhold.

Whitesummit's receptionist

On Whitesummit you can find the Syndicate Hideout, home of the Assassin Syndicate. Head to the base, taking down any enemies that would seek to stop you. Once inside, you need to find John Vasquez, who will be labeled as the Syndicate receptionist. By talking to him and paying him, he will set your fame back down to nothing, removing your bounty entirely.

Silverhold's receptionist

On the island of Silverhold you can find the base of operations for the Grand Navy, the most powerful naval force in the game. However, that isn't important right now, as you need to get your bounty reset. Once again, fight your way into the base and find the receptionist named Scott Baldwin. Something important to note is that the base has two receptionists, but only the Visitor Receptionist Scott Baldwin can reset your bounty.
