Halloween is here and the world of Warrior Cats is celebrating with a limited-time-only event that allows players to not only discover a hidden secret and solve its mystery, but also unlock a handful of exclusive in-game accessories. Despite what you may have preconceived, Phase 1 of this event is pretty easy to complete once you know where to go/what you're looking for—I can help you knock it out in just a few minutes!
Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition 2023 Halloween Event Guide (Phase 1)
Where is Dawnie in Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition?
Dawnie is a reoccurring side character who, like most stereotypical Kittypets, inquires you for help when she's feeling worried or curious about something that could be dangerous. This time, Dawnie is missing one of her closest friends, Tigress, who she hasn't spoken to in a long while. According to Dawnie, cats across the territories (including Tigress) are filled with fear; constantly on edge that someone, or something, is watching them from the shadows. Upon speaking to Dawnie, you'll be asked to find Tigress and ensure that she's safe.
Dawnie is located near a woodpile directly outside the main Kittypet area. You can easily teleport to this area by opening the Clans menu and selecting it. Once you find the two houses in the Kittypet area, you won't miss her.
Where is Tigress in Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition?
To find Tigress, head to the Rogues and Loners area and approach the back of the small barn that's to the right of the large red one. Upon speaking with Tigress, you'll be told about a new group of cats no one's ever seen before, all of whom seem to be sneaking around, and hoping to steal from, the barn. Tigress will also confess that she scared off one of the thieving cats the other night, and that she let them escape to Mothermouth in fear of leaving the barn unprotected.
If you choose to ask about what the cats were after, Tigress will reluctantly reveal that there are trinkets hidden within the barn, hidden there by "an old friend." She won't give you much more info than that, and you're left to explore the barn yourself.
Where are the trinkets in Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition?
Though Tigress mentions that there are multiple trinkets hidden inside the barn, there's only one item that you can actually find—an amulet. To find this trinket, enter the large red barn and head to the back-right corner of it. Upon standing on the pile of hay pictured below, a prompt should appear that allows you to dig. After digging for a few seconds, you'll reveal the hidden amulet.

Where are Dawnie and Tigress...again?
After collecting the amulet, you'll be advised to speak with Tigress again, who is no longer waiting where she was before. Assuming she's with Dawnie, you'll then check the Kittypet area, but no one will be there, either. All that's left to do now is check Mothermouth.
Where is Mothermouth in Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition?
Despite what online guides have likely told you, the best way to find Mothermouth is by teleporting back to the Rogues and Loners area, and then just heading away from the barns and toward the road. The area we're looking for is blocked off by a large gate with an advisory sign on the front of it. The images below show the same location from a front and back angle, that way you can see how truly easy it is to find.
Approach this gate and continue down the path behind it.
After a bit of exploring down the path, you should come across a small patch of fur that you can interact with and smell. After smelling this fur, follow its scent inside the abandoned mine cave at the end of the path.
Once inside the cave, follow the path using the arrows below. After a bit of walking, you should come across a large metal gate.

As you approach the door, a prompt will appear that allows you to inspect it. Upon inspection, you'll be told that the scent you were following has abruptly ended, and that the door is sealed tight. You should then receive the Living Shadows badge and in-game amulet accessory.
How to unlock the door in Mothermouth
To unlock the door hidden inside Mothermouth, you'll need to solve the puzzle that's hidden underneath the red barn in the Rogues and Loners area. Once you've entered this area, look for a large hole in one of the stables.
At the bottom of this hole is the puzzle. To solve this puzzle, you must interact with its sliding pieces and move them around so they make a completed picture. This, and the second phase of this event in general, is much easier to do in a private server, so I'd highly suggest paying the 200 Robux to purchase one—trust me, with the amount of purposeful trolls who're just itching to upset others, it's worth it!
As soon as you complete the puzzle, the door will open and you'll be able to move onto Phase 2 of the 2023 Halloween event. What lies past the door can be found below.
