To obtain Airwalk in VV: Ultimatum, start by heading to the Precipice, the burning village found on the main map. Speak with John which is an NPC that can be found there. He will unlock access to the Tundra after you finish his quest. Once inside the Tundra, make your way to Xuanzang, an NPC standing atop a bridge near the frozen village. After talking to him, you'll receive the quest that needs to be completed to unlock Airwalk. Lastly, climb to the top of the tallest frozen tower in the Tundra and speak with the NPC waiting there. This will complete the quest, and they will grant you the Airwalk ability as a reward.

How to Unlock Airwalk in VV: Ultimatum
To unlock Airwalk in VV: Ultimatum, firstly, you will have to go to the Precipice, which is a burning village on the main map. Once there, you will have to speak to John NPC, who will open the gate to the tundra once you have completed his quest. Proceed to enter the tundra and locate Xuanzang, who is an NPC that stands on top of a bridge near the frozen village. Speak to him, and he will give you the Airwalk acquisition quest. Finally, go to the top of the highest frozen tower in Tundra and talk to the NPC located there, who will give you Airwalk.
Keep in mind that this is a main storyline quest, meaning that you are guaranteed to eventually reach it if you play the game and progress normally. Also, be aware that you can do it only if you are level 40 or higher, and all other previous story quests have been completed. You should not worry about this too much, though, as we said, simply play the game normally and you won't miss it. With that said, you cannot rush to do this quest as soon as you make a new character, as the NPCs simply will not give it to you if you have not met the prerequisites that we mentioned.
When you are actually in the tundra, you can press and hold the C key at any time, which will highlight all nearby interactable NPCs. This will ensure you can easily locate Xuanzang. He is the leader of the village that sits underneath a tall mountain, so it should be hard to miss.
Important information: Once you have unlocked Airwalk on one character, it will be available right from the get-go to all other subsequent characters you create!
How to Get to the Highest Point in Tundra in VV: Ultimatum
To get to the "highest point" in VV: Ultimatum that the Airwalk quest giver mentions, you will have to climb to the top of a decrepit ice fortress located in the tundra. To get to it, you will first have to make your way through an ice tunnel marked by four blue lampposts. Once you do, keep following the right-side path until you reach an ice skull. Continue heading through the skull, and the castle will be situated to the right of where you exited it.
Once you have reached the fortress, climb to the top of it by using a double jump.
How to Deal with the Archers in the Airwalk quest?
To get past the archers that are scattered across the ice fortress in the Airwalk quest, you must either dodge or parry their attacks. Simply tanking or blocking their arrows will not work, as you will get knocked back significantly upon being hit, forcing you to do the entire climb from the start. Look to close the gap as quickly as possible and try to dispatch them before they get their next shot off. Baiting their attacks from behind cover and immediately popping out once they have whiffed their shot also works well as a strategy.
The Quincy Archers that guard the ice fortress are definitely the toughest enemies in the Airwalk quest. With that in mind, you should look to equip the best weapons and clans that are available in VV: Ultimatum in order to have an easier time when dealing with them.
