How Does Quincy Progression Work in VV Ultimatum?

The Quincy faction progression is gated behind milestones that unlock in sequence. You start with Lieutenant missions at Level 25, move through crafting the Sanrei Glove, then reach the Evolved Spirit Weapon, and finally unlock Letzt Stil by defeating the Securis boss. Each stage requires completing the previous one before advancing.

How Do You Complete Lieutenant Missions in VV Ultimatum?

Lieutenant missions are your primary progression route as a Quincy. Press L to open the mission board and pick up available assignments. Each mission has a star rating from 1 to 3, higher stars mean more difficulty and more progression EXP on completion.

There is a 5-minute cooldown between missions, so choosing the fastest missions to complete and waiting out the timer is the most efficient approach. After completing a mission, press L again and select Progress Report to check your status. Never select "Get New Task". That resets your cooldown timer and wastes your wait. The Lieutenant's dialogue tells you how close you are:

• "The job's still not done yet" -> keep going
• "You're getting close" -> nearly done
• "The higher-ups will be happy... Report later for more tasks" -> mission complete

Completing a mission alone is not enough. You need to return to the Lieutenant and press Report Task to actually receive the EXP. Missions range in difficulty, but the star rating tells you how much progression weight each one carries.

NOTE: Talking to the Lieutenant after a mission without pressing Report Task does nothing. Always select Report Task specifically, or you will not receive progression credit for completed missions.

How Do You Get the Sanrei Glove in VV Ultimatum?

After enough Lieutenant missions, the Lieutenant will prompt you to obtain the Sanrei Glove. Travel to the Wandenreich and find the NPC selling the recipe. It costs 300 Soul Tokens. Once you have the recipe, gather the three crafting materials to craft it.

The Sanrei Glove changes your L key from the default function to Meditate once equipped. Here's the recipe for it:

How Do You Get Strange Essence?

Strange Essence drops from light blue-colored Hollows that spawn around the map. These are unusual variants. They look different from standard Hollows.

The fastest farming spot is the waterfall near spawn in Society Outskirts. Walk out of the spawn area, find the waterfall, and go inside it. Hollows spawn there in a guaranteed set location and drop Strange Essence when killed.

How Do You Get Frost Alloy?

Frost Alloy is a crafted material. You need three components to make it:

How Do You Get the Broken Quincy Medallion?

This is the hardest part of Quincy's progression and where most players get stuck. There are two ways to get it, and neither is easy:

Method 1 - Rogue Quincy Commander

The Rogue Quincy Commander spawns in the Arctic Plains near the large gate at the entrance, then wanders the map. He has an army of Quincy soldiers with him and is a legitimate challenge to fight. If you find him, the Broken Quincy Medallion is a guaranteed drop.

Method 2 - Rogue Quincy Archers

The same red-hat Archers you farm for Frost Deviant Shards can also drop the Broken Quincy Medallion. But the drop rate is estimated at around 1% or lower.

How Do You Unlock Letzt Stil in VV Ultimatum?

After obtaining the Sanrei Glove and the Meditate ability, continue completing Lieutenant missions. Once you have done enough, the Lieutenant will prompt you to begin the meditation step. At this stage, you need to complete 3 to 5 meditations at 70 Max Reiatsu. Meditate, let your Reiatsu bar drain, wait for it to recover, then meditate again. Repeat until the Lieutenant signals progression.

Repeat this loop alongside continuing missions. At some point during meditation, your Reiatsu bar will stop dropping all the way down. This signals that Reiatsu control is progressing. When the Lieutenant says something along the lines of "You're making progress... you might need more experience. Perhaps you should fight strong enemies", it means control is achieved.

Then you need to go fight some NPCs to push through this stage. Once the Lieutenant signals you are ready, the ability activates. You can now collect Reishi beyond your normal limit. Popping Letzt Stil during combat also restores HP, which becomes useful in the boss fight ahead.

How Do You Get Your Schrift in VV Ultimatum?

After Letzt Stil, the Lieutenant will eventually give you a final mission that reads as follows: a Shinigami has been eliminating Quincy soldiers and needs to be dealt with. He is somewhere in the Arctic Plains, and the Lieutenant warns he is stronger than average.

This is a solo boss encounter. You cannot fight it with other players. The Securis boss spawns in the Arctic Plains and has a learnable attack pattern. He is squishy once you understand his moves, and popping Letzt Stil during the fight restores HP. Expect roughly 20 or more attempts before consistently clearing it if you are going in blind.

After defeating the Shinigami boss, return to the Lieutenant and complete approximately three more missions. All will be 2-star or 3-star at this point. Pick the easiest available. Kill Menos Grande if you can, as they are easy stat-checks by this stage.

When the Lieutenant says, "You have fully understood this power. You no longer require the glove to reach it. Turn your foes to ash", your Schrift is unlocked. You will receive 5 rerolls on first unlock, giving you multiple shots at a good Schrift from the start.

NOTE: Schrift is obtained around Level 69-70 based on normal progression. You do not need to be in Letzt Stil mode to use your Schrift ability. Hold Control with your weapon out to activate it.

What Are the Best Stats for Quincy in VV Ultimatum?

You can spend points in VV Ultimatum across several stats, and the single biggest mistake new players make is spreading points across multiple trees instead of committing to one. You only get 100 skill points to work with, and resetting your build after Level 20 requires either a Robux purchase or crafting a Stat Reset Token with endgame materials.
