In order to find the Scarlet Doll in DTI, you must complete a quest to find the five Gems which open the Secret Cave. The Gems can be found:
- On a hill near the beach
- At the Beach Volleyball court
- At Lana's House and the Recording Studio
- Across the beach area
- In the Backrooms
Keep in mind that it's not as simple as going up to a Gem and picking it up, you'll have to complete quests first, which you can find below.
The Dress to Impress developers have added the Scarlet Doll accessory during the Summer 2025 Update, but it has been re-added in the Summer 2026 Update as well. To get it, you first have to get five Gems. Each of these Gems is connected to five unique quests that must be completed to enter the cave on the Beach. So, if you are wondering how to get these gems in DTI, and obtain the coveted secret treasure, here is the perfect guide for you to follow.
Dress to Impress Scarlet Doll Quest Guide
The Scarlet Doll Quest can only be completed in the Freeplay Mode of DTI. Use the Teleport Button in the bottom left corner and head over to Freeplay to start working on the Gems. As mentioned earlier, you must get all five gems to enter the cave near the beach area before you can get the Scarlet Doll. You can do them in any order you want, but we've organized them here by difficulty, as well as by location going from the changing room and then outside.
DTI Red Bird Gem
The Red Gem is one of the easiest to get, so let's do that first. Go past the Scarlet NPC and across the water to a hill where you will find a bird stuck in sand. Interact with it and it will trigger a game similar to flappy bird. Just go through the rings and once you hit 35, it will deem you worthy enough and give you the gem. Yellow Rings are worth more points, three to be exact, so make sure to target them for a quicker completion.
DTI Purple Volleyball Gem
This Gem quest in DTI is located right next to the cave. First, talk to the NPC at the beach Volleyball court and she will request a Beach Ball. You can get one at the Dressing Room so head back there. Go to the accessories session, and you might notice that there isn't a volleyball in sight. There is a fix, don't worry!
Equip the soccer ball, then go to customize it. Here, you can choose between the Default style, or a Beach Ball. Choose the Beach Ball, then go back outside, where you will now have to engage in a little bit of Beach Volleyball yourself.
The mini game requires you to hit back 20 Beach Balls. You do so by stepping into the blue circles and hitting once the ball is close to you. There is danger, since coconuts will also be sent your way. If they hit you, they will stun you. It's especially unfortunate when Coconuts hit chain up and you can't move for a bit.
There is no penalty for getting stunned or missing, other than your honor, so just keep trying until you get 20 hits. Once you do, the pink gem will spawn to the left of the volleyball net, and you can pick it up!
DTI Blue Fountain Gem
For the Blue Gem in the Dress to Impress Summer quest, you have to go to Lana's beach house. It is right of the staircase if you are coming from the dressing room. Now, this quest requires a few steps, indicated by the three symbols on the cave: Hammer, Coconut, and Fountain.
For the first step, go up the ladder of Lana's beach house and look on top of the shelves in the corner. You can pick up the Hammer you find there. Doing so gives you a text saying "You can break something". Let's go do just that!
Go back outside and across the street to the fruit stand where you will see a giant Coconut, just like the ones targeting you during the beach volleyball game. It's time to get your revenge and smash it into bits, as well as get the next item, a Coin!
The final step is making a wish at the the Fountain, but where can you find one! Luckily, there is one at the Recording Studios. Just head over to the left side of the map, away from the Scarlet NPC, and you'll see a pink building with the sign noting it as the Recording Studio.
Go inside and to the second to last scene on the right side. The winter scenery clashes with the summer event, but the fountain in the corner is just what we need. Toss the Coin into it to make a wish, and you'll get the Blue Gem.

DTI Yellow Lantern Gem
For the Yellow game as part of the Scarlet Doll Quest in DTI, you have to light up five different Lanterns spread out across the map. Let's quickly go through all locations where you can find them.
- The easiest Lantern you can pick up is right outside the Recording Studio. As you exit, turn right and you will see an unlit lantern on the wall of the building connected to the Studio.
- From the Recording Studio, go up the stairs to the left and keep walking down the path until you see an orange house. It will have a lantern hanging right next to its door.
- From the freeplay entrance, go up the stairs to the left and you'll see a lantern on the blue house to the right.
- Since we already found one orange house lantern, lets look for another one! From the entrance to the Freeplay zone, head down the stairs to the left and then take the path. It will lead you to another orange house and another unlit lantern! This house also has some yellow and green flags decorating it, so you can't miss it!
- Now, head down to the road next to the beach for the final lantern. Sadly, it's not on an orange house, but it is on the pink house to the right of it. Just climb up the stairs, light it up, and you'll get the yellow DTI gem.
If you can't find the yellow gem, don't worry, it's not a bug. Go to the main stairs leading up to the freeplay zone and you'll see it there!
DTI Green Backrooms Gem
If you thought DTI and Backrooms didn't go together, well this summer quest has proven you wrong! To start it, look from Scarlet towards the tunnel and rocks, and you'll see a drawn door, reminiscent of the one from the movie. If that's not hint enough, go through it and you'll end up in the Backrooms. To navigate them, just follow our quick instructions:
- Go past the chairs and down the path ahead of you.
- Climb onto the runway you see on your left and go behind.
- Go left, then immediately to the right.
- Once you hit a wall, turn left and you'll see a Lana cardboard cutout with a door behind it.
- Enter the door and start digging for treasure.
- Fake Gems will disappear, but the real one will remain active so that you can pick it up.
Once you have collected all the gems, you can enter the cave and jump on the bubbles to reach the other side, where you can find the Scarlet Doll inside a treasure chest. If you haven't completed the Treasure Hunt yet, make sure to also do that!
The Scarlet Doll Quest in Dress to Impress is a series of tasks where you collect five Gems across the map in Freeplay Mode in order to acquire the Scarlet Doll toggle for the Lana Doll.
