Toilet Tower Defense, as the name implies, is a tower-defense-style experience where players must use the various units they collect in game to defend their base and defeat waves of enemy toilets (extremely Roblox concept, amirite?). As you complete waves, you'll earn Coins, which can then be used to summon units from the summoning area and were, at one time, the only currency in the TTD experience. Now, however, added with Update 60, players can collect Gems, a new form of currency that can be used to unlock exclusive units. How to earn Gems in TTD
At the time of this article's publication, Gems can only be obtained by purchasing them from the in-game store with Robux. The full price breakdown of these Gems can be found below.
- 200 Gems - 299 Robux
- 1,000 Gems - 1,399 Robux
- 4,000 Gems - 4,999 Robux
- 10,000 Gems - 9,999 Robux
Not much more information is known about how Gems will be obtained in the future, but I assume you'll earn a small amount of Gems each time you complete a TTD map.

What do Gems do in TTD?
Gems can be used to purchase the Exclusive Spider Crate, which contains the following units:
- Speaker Spider - 70% pull chance
- Camera Spider - 29.9% pull chance
- Spider TV - 0.1% pull chance
These units are the first ones of their kind, as they're marked with a special Moveable tag.
