What is Scholar in Verdant Moon?
In Verdant Moon, Scholar is an altar. In the game, altars are physical locations where you determine certain attributes for your stats. There are altars and shrines for many different groups. For example, there are altars for One Trick, Wrathful, and more. Shrines can interact with altars, but they are not the same thing.
The Scholar Altar provides +25% speed for spell casting and -25% mana costs for spells. This altar, like the rest, has the disadvantage to weigh out the advantages. For Scholar, spells will now cost 5% of a player's health.
How to Get Scholar Altar
The scholar is located in the Lunarian Reservoir. To get to the Lunarian Reservoir, you will have to find the hidden cave behind a waterfall in Silver Woods. Begin Ascending to the top of the reservoir, taking the stones one at a time like stairs.
Once you get up high, you will see a pedestal area across the way. Keep going straight and slowly descend down the steps slightly, about to the next dropdown (not in the water, the second story), and begin walking carefully around the perimeter. You will eventually get around the perimeter and see a dark hallway. Walk straight until you see the Altar. If you'd like to interact, simply walk up to it.
