How to get the ⚡(lightning bolt) badge in Royale High – Roblox

To many players' surprise, the popular role- play/dress-up experience Royale High offers over 200 badges for players to collect, including a few secret ones that may have gone right under your nose. One of these secret badges, the ⚡ badge, was even thought to be removed from the experience entirely after its corresponding event was closed for the season. What many players don't realize, however, is that this badge can still be obtained!

How to earn the lightning bolt⚡ badge in Royale High

In order to earn the ⚡ badge, we need to complete the Lighthouse Quest from the Summer 2021 update. For a brief walkthrough on how to complete this quest, continue reading below.

Completing the lighthouse quest

Once you've spawned into Royale High, make your way toward or teleport to Diamond Beach. Make your way toward the actual beach itself and look for the tall, pink-and-white lighthouse.

Approach this lighthouse and knock on the door.

Upon doing so, you should begin to hear some shuffling noises inside. Despite these noises, however, no one will answer the door. To learn more about the mysterious lighthouse, walk or fly back down to the boardwalk and look for the NPC standing in front of the Crowned Casuals store.

As you speak to this NPC, you'll learn of a rumor that the lighthouse may be haunted, or that someone scary lives inside of it.

Knowing this new information, return to the lighthouse and knock on its door again. After around eight to ten knocks, a grumpy voice will beg you to scram, encouraging you to visit Diamond Beach's ice cream parlor or candy shop instead of bothering him.

Once you've received this dialogue, fly to the ice cream parlor that's down the boardwalk from the Crowned Casuals store.

Working at this parlor is Debra, an elderly NPC who, upon talking to her, will give you the inside scoop (no pun intended) on the old man in the lighthouse. Throughout this conversation, you get the idea to bring the old man a serving of his favorite flavor of ice cream to hopefully cheer him up. Unfortunately, however, Debra can't recall his favorite flavor off the top of her head and suggests that you ask the other Frostbite employees for help.

If you want to skip the next part of this quest, that's totally ok—simply speak to Debra again, order a cup of strawberry ice cream, and scroll past the next few graphs of this article. For those who are interested in completing the quest step by step, we need to leave Frostbite and look for the late shift employee that Debra was talking about—Luke.

Luke can be found sitting on the pier of the small island that the Diamond Beach chairlift travels to.

Upon speaking to Luke, you'll be informed that the old man's favorite flavor of ice cream is strawberry and that he prefers to eat it in a cup.

With this info fresh in your mind, return to Frostbite and order a cup of strawberry ice cream from Debra.

Now, with the strawberry ice cream in hand, fly back up to the lighthouse and knock on its door.

Once the old man smells the strawberry ice cream, he will let you in the lighthouse and ask you to place it on his table.

On the table where you place the ice cream is a locked diary—to learn more about the old man, we need to unlock it. The key to this diary can be found by moving the cloth that's draped over the small boat pictured below.

Grab this key, return to the table, and interact with the diary to unlock it.

Now that you can interact with the diary, pick it up and examine its cover. At the bottom of the diary's cover is the sentence, "If found, please return to: ArrShiverMeWhiskers."

The next part of this quest can again be skipped, as we simply list the code that you receive upon completing this step below, but we'll still be detailing it for those interested. ArrShiverMeWhiskers is the name of an account that actually exists on the Roblox platform and it has a rather cryptic bio.

In this bio is the quote “When I arise from the sea, Starfish below quake at the sight of me! My teeth Pearl-y and sublime, my Tail long, glistening, it shines! In the misty blue brine, I search for Sailboats, they'll all be mine mine mine!” Encrypted within this quote is the following secret code: Starfish, Pearl, Tail, Sailboat. To use this quote, we need to first leave the lighthouse and find the cavernous tunnel that's hidden below it.

Fly through this tunnel until you reach an open, cave-like area.

On the back wall of this cave is the puzzle pictured below.

To solve this puzzle, we need to use our code and line up the hieroglyphic pieces in the correct order. You puzzle should look like ours when completed.

Once you've lined up the pieces in the correct places, press the Submit button that's in the middle of the puzzle. Upon doing so, you should be able to knock down the boulders that are blocking the tunnel to its left.

Fly through this tunnel and look for an old shipwreck.

Approach the door of this ship and knock on it.

Upon doing so, a person inside of the ship will tell you to leave. After a bit of convincing, however, they will offer you a trade—if you bring them a scoop of chocolate ice cream in a cone, they will allow you inside of their ship.

Return to Frostbite, order one scoop of chocolate ice cream in a cone, and then bring it all the way back to the ship to appease the person inside.

After knocking on the ship's door and announcing your return with the ice cream, the door will open, allowing you inside.

Once inside of the ship, keep an eye out for a glowing satchel—this is the item that Captain Whiskers, the man in the lighthouse, wrote about losing in his diary!

With this satchel in hand, leave the shipwreck and return to the lighthouse—it's time to bring back these memories to their rightful owner.

After knocking on the lighthouse door for the final time, Captain Whiskers will harshly ask you to leave. Once you're able to show him the satchel, however, he will cry in disbelief before opening up to you about his long-lost family and thanking you for returning his precious belongings. As a physical thank you, he will give you a treasure that he found while exploring—the Heart of the Ocean necklace.

As soon as you receive this necklace, you will also obtain the ⚡ badge! Congratulations—you not only earned a rare badge, but you also helped a friend in need.
