How to get the Best Cards in Anime Card Battle

Unlock the Elite ones!

Anime Card Battle requires you to collect the best cards in the game to survive against the toughest bosses. Since it's an RNG game, there's no guaranteed way to roll for the top-tier cards, but you can increase the chances of getting them.

Use potions

Potions are an essential part of the Anime Card Battle as they increase certain attributes that ultimately provide you an advantage. There are five types of potions available as mentioned in the Anime Card Battle Trello board:

  • Luck potion: Improves the luck attribute which ultimately increases the chances of dropping rare cards.
  • Speed potion: Boost the card rolling speed, meaning you will obtain new cards faster.
  • Corrupt potion: Grants you 50% luck for 120 seconds.
  • Star potion: Increases your chance to get border cards by 20% for 120 seconds.
  • Boss potion: Allows you to roll boss cards for 10 minutes.

I highly recommend using the Luck potion to increase the chances of getting the best cards in Anime Card Battle. The best part is you can get them for free by picking them up from the ground and using redeem codes. Apart from this, you can craft them at the Anime Card Battle potion shop using certain ingredients.

Craft Items

To further improve the drop rate, you can craft items like Legendary Stick and Cursed Finger by interacting with the merchant NPC. However, the NPC will ask you to trade certain cards if you want these two items:

  • Legendary Stick (+1 Luck): 15x Shade, 1x Green Fiend, 3x Bandit
  • Cursed Finger (+2 Luck): 3x Nail Master, 1x Cursed Vessel

Thankfully, the aforementioned cards have a decent drop rate which means you'll easily get them before your first 1000 rolls. On top of that, unlike potions, the above-mentioned items grant you a permanent luck boost, so I highly suggest crafting them.

Weather rolls

The card drop rate primarily depends on the current weather in Anime Card Battle. For instance, you're more likely to get rare cards in Eclipse weather than a normal one. Here's a table that breaks down how the weather system works:

WeatherProbabilityEffects
Rain1 in 300Grants you special cards
Snow1 in 400Grants you special cards
Sandstorm1 in 500Grants you special cards
Infinite Tsukiyomi1 in 1500Grants you special cards
Isekai1 in 77772x Luck Boost
Eclipse1 in 100004x Luck Boost
Galaxy1 in 3000010x Luck Boost

To sum it up, you should focus on improving the luck factor, as it's the key to obtaining the best cards in the game.
