In Fisch, players can get the fabled Fangsplitter Rod by completing a set of quests from the Echo NPC in the Underground Music Venue. If you are wondering what these quests are or how to complete them to get the Fangsplitter Rod, here is a detailed guide.
Complete Fangsplitter Rod Guide in Fisch
Below are step-by-step instructions for getting the Fangsplitter Rod in Fisch, from reaching the Underground Music Venue to each quest.
How to reach the Underground Music Venue in Fisch

To start the quest, you must head to the Underground Music Venue. First, wait for a mysterious whirlpool to spawn on the map. Once it does, jump inside it to reach the Vertigo. Here, fish for the Depths Key and open the Depths Door. Go to a secret cave in the Depths at GPS (X: 1100, Y: -700, Z: 1400) to enter Crystal Cove. Place an enchanted chaotic relic on the white crystal to open the secret trapdoor at the back and enter the Underground Music Venue.
All Echo NPCs' quests and how to finish them

Inside the Underground Music Venue, you can find the Echo NPC at the start of the stairs leading to the stage, in a corner. Talk to him to start a quest series.
Quest 1: Rubber Ducks Rule the World
The first quest requires you to catch 7 Rubber Duckies using the Nocturnal Rod. If you don't have the Nocturnal Rod, you can get one for 15,000C$ from the Synth NPC inside the Vertigo Shop. Then, catch x7 Rubber Duckys, which prefer the following bait & weather conditions.
- Bait: None
- Weather: Rain
- Season: None
- Time: None
Quest 2: Glistening Madness
For the next one, you would be instructed to catch and return 1 Shiny or Sparkling Withered Colossal Squid. This is quite easy, as the Colossal Squid can be found in the Open Ocean and prefers the following bait & weather conditions.
- Bait: Night Shrimp
- Weather: Foggy
- Season: Winter
- Time: Night
To get the Withered Mutation on the fish, use either a Decayed Rod (10% chance) or a Withered Spear (25% chance). Once you have the fish with the Withered mutation, take it to the Appraiser and keep appraising until you get the Shiny or Sparkling attribute.
Quest 3: Days Turn to Nights, Nights to Days

This is the easiest task, as you have to stay for 7 consecutive in-game days. Simply pop a Sundial Totem to speed up the process and finish the task.
Quest 4: Wingripper Pt. 2
The next step requires you to "Catch and return 1 Shiny or Sparkling Distraught Enchant Relic." First, equip the Dreambreaker Rod to get the Distraught Mutation, then fish for Enchant Relics anywhere on the map, since they're regionless. Some of the best locations to get Enchant Relics include The Depths & Keeper's Altar. I also recommend getting the Scavenger Enchantment and equipping the Relic Construct companion to further increase your chances.
While fishing, you can use a Shiny Totem to get the Shiny Attribute, or visit an Appraiser to apply either the Shiny/Sparkling Attribute while appraising continuously.
Quest 5: The End

The final task is to catch any Megalodon 7 times using the Nocturnal Rod perfectly. This is a slightly grindy task, as the Megalodon is a Hunt Fish and spawns periodically or is triggered using the Megalodon Totem. First, check the Events Chat section to see whether a Megalodon Hunt is running. If available, go directly to the Ancient Isle & equip the Nocturnal Rod to start fishing for the Megalodon, which prefers the following baits & conditions.
- Bait: Shark Head, Tryhard Worms
- Weather: None
- Season: None
- Time: None
Also, the base Nocturnal Rod will feel underpowered for catching the Megalodon. So, try to get the Breezed, Blessed, or Steady Mutation to make your life easier.
