How to Get the Forgotten Shovel in Prehistoric Farm
To get the Forgotten Shovel in Prehistoric Farm, you need to spawn and defeat the Raptor X Boss. There’s a 1% chance that the Raptor X will drop the Forgotten Shovel when defeated.

How to Spawn Raptor X Boss in Prehistoric Farm
You can spawn the Raptor X Boss in Prehistoric Farm on Blackgate Isle using a Bonebound Key. Read on to find the exact location of Blackgate Isle and learn how to get the Bonebound Key in Prehistoric Farm.
Where is Blackgate Island in Prehistoric Farm
Blackgate Isle is a small island on the right side of the map (between the Cambrian Island and the Devonian Island). It does not show up on the compass, but you can find it using the image shared below as a reference.
Once you reach Blackgate Isle, you can spawn the Raptor X Boss by interacting with a box on the left side of the Blackgate building. You’ll need a Bonebound Key to be able to use the box and spawn the Raptor X Boss.
How to Get the Bonebound Key in Prehistoric Farm
To get the Bonebound Key, you need to complete a questline from Dr. Ivy at Blackgate Isle. When you enter Blackgate Isle, you’ll see Dr. Ivy (same NPC as the Home Island) standing near a fence. Talk to her to start the questline. You’ll have to complete the following three quests:
- Quest 1 - Obtain 5 Raptor X Remnants: You can get Raptor X Remnants by fishing. Perfect throws that go 160 meters deep have a high chance of catching Raptor X Remnants.
- Quest 2 - Get 5 Lock Fragments: You can get Lock Fragments as a direct drop from the Mosasaurus Boss that spawns near Home Island. The Mosasaurus Boss spawns at the start of every hour (at XX:00) and has a 100% chance to drop the Lock Fragments.
- Quest 3 - Get 1 Albino Rex and 3 Velociraptors: Velociraptors can be obtained from Cretaceous Island. Albino Rex can be obtained by fusing an adult Tyrannosaurus rex (also obtainable from Cretaceous Island) and an adult Velociraptor. After obtaining both of these dinosaurs, go and talk to Dr. Ivy on Cretaceous Island to fuse both of these dinosaurs into an Albino Rex.
After obtaining three Velociraptors and one Albino Rex, go back to Blackgate Isle and talk to Dr. Ivy again. She will take the Albino Rex and the Velociraptors and give you the Bonebound Key.
Once you obtain the Bonebound Key, it is permanent. You can use it to spawn the Raptor X Boss as many times as you want. It does have a 5-minute cooldown.
Now, you just have to repeatedly kill the Raptor X Boss to get the Forgotten Shovel in Prehistoric Farm. If you don’t want to grind the Bonebound Key quest, you can simply go to Blackgate Isle, wait for other players to spawn the Raptor X Boss, and join the fight for a chance to get the drops.
Note: Every player who deals 5% or more damage to the Raptor X Boss has an equal chance to get the Forgotten Shovel.
