If you want to get the Pacific Shovel in Prehistoric Farm but don’t know how to get it, this complete guide will help you out. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about Panthalassa, including how to get there. This guide also covers Yara’s locations and provides complete details of the questline, so you know exactly what you need to do.

How to Get the Pacific Shovel in Prehistoric Farm

To get the Pacific Shovel in Prehistoric Farm, you need to go to Panthalassa and talk to Yara. Complete Yara’s questline, and you can get the Pacific Shovel. However, before you start this journey, make sure you are Level 30+ and have the Titanium Shovel.

How to Get the Titanium Shovel?

You can get the Titanium Shovel from the Shovel Shop at Home Island in exchange for 20x Desert Topaz, 20x Jungle Emerald, and 200,000 Coins. Desert Topaz drops from Triassic Island rocks, and Jungle Emerald drops from Jurassic Island rocks.

Once you have the Titanium Shovel and reach Level 30+, complete the following steps to get the Pacific Shovel in Prehistoric Farm.

1. Go to Panthalassa

Panthalassa is an underwater area in Prehistoric Farm that you can go to using a Whirlpool behind the Devonian Island. But before you can enter Panthalassa, you need to complete a questline from Kai the Tidekeeper. To find Kai the Tidekeeper, go to the right side of Devonian Island.

If you can’t find Kai the Tidekeeper, use the image below as a reference:

To go to Panthalassa, you’ll need to complete the following three tasks from Kai the Tidekeeper NPC:

  • Find a Mosasaurus Skull: As soon as you accept the task, a pointer will appear on your screen. Follow the pointer, pick up the Mosasaurus Skull from Cretaceous Island, and bring it back to Kai the Tidekeeper to complete the first task.
  • Catch Any 50 Fish: Use any fishing rod and bait to catch 50 fish in total. You don’t have to catch fish of a specific species or rarity. Shoes and bottles don’t count.
  • Get 3 Dunkleosteus Eggs: Using a Silver Shovel (or better), dig at the rocks of Devonian Island until you collect 12 Dunkleosteus Shards. After that, go to Home Island and get 3 Dunkleosteus Eggs. Do not hatch the eggs. You have to give all three to Kai the Tidekeeper.

Once you complete these three tasks, you can then go to Panthalassa by talking to Kai the Tidekeeper.

2. Complete Yara’s Questline

When you spawn in Panthalassa, go to the right side to find Yara standing in a small shop called Yara’s Shellsmithy. Talk to him and complete all the following quests one after the other:

  • Get 3 Sea Eggs: You need to get three Sea Eggs of any kind. You can get Sea Eggs by collecting shards from Panthalassa and taking them to Dr. Ivy at Home Island. You must have the Titanium Shovel to be able to dig the Panthalassa Rocks. Do not hatch the eggs. You have to give them to Yara.
  • Get 1x Nessie Fragment: You can get a Nessie Fragment by picking it up from Panthalassa (it spawns every 15 minutes and stays on the map for 5 minutes) or by redeeming Prehistoric Farm Codes.

After completing both of these tasks, talk to Yara, and you can buy the Pacific Shovel for 350,000 Coins.

That’s everything you need to do to get the Pacific Shovel in Prehistoric Farm. The Pacific Shovel has 1.60x Fossil Luck, gives 1.45x Coins per dig, and digs 1.2x faster than the Titanium Shovel. That makes it the second-best Shovel in the game right now, bested only by the Forgotten Shovel. It can also dig in all islands except Late Cretaceous.

If you’re struggling to find the Nessie Fragment or collect the 350,000 Coins, redeem the latest Prehistoric Farm Codes to get both of these things for free. And if you don’t want to use boats anymore, see our guide on How to Get Flying Pets in Prehistoric Farm.
