How to get the Plasma Mutation in Grow A Garden – Lazer Event

In the Cosmetics Update, the developers have added a new mutation to the base game called the Plasma. This is a unique mutation that can only be acquired during the Lazer Event. So, if you are wondering what this new event type is or how the mutation looks, here is a complete guide on it.

When does the Lazer Event Spawn in Grow A Garden?

Similar to other Admin Events, the Lazer Event can spawn at any time in the game when an admin triggers it. When it spawns, you will find a large model of Jandel behind the Gears shop, emitting red lasers from its eyes to all the nearby gardens. If one of your crops/fruits gets hit with this red laser, you will get the plasma mutation.

Speaking about appearance, the crops with the plasma Mutation will have a pinkish neon glow all over their body, similar to any Neon signboard. This is one of the coolest-looking mutations in the game, apart from the Disco, and it elevates the look of the fruit.

Plasma Mutation Multiplier and Rates

The Tornado Mutation will increase the base price of crops/fruits by x5 times. This is relatively low for an admin weather type in the game, making it one of the easiest ways to mint money. Also, the other best part is that it stacks with other standard weather types, such as wet, allowing you to combine mutation and sell for a much higher value.

Can you get the Plasma Mutation on a Private Server?

No, you cannot get the Plasma Mutation on a private server. Why? Well, the Lazer is an event that can only be activated by the Admins on public servers. So, you cannot sit inside a private server and expect to get the Plasma Mutation. However, it's better to follow the Grow A Garden Discord channel, especially the Weather Channel, to learn about future Lazer Events in the game, and switch to public channels in such scenarios.
