A feature that has been entirely unnoticed and severely underused in Dress to Impress is the ability to save your outfits. This game-changing feature allows users to save a perfect outfit and reuse it during custom competitions around a similar theme. So, if you don't know how to save your outfits or reuse them in DTI, here is a guide explaining the whole procedure.
How to save and reuse your outfits in Dress to Impress
To use the save feature in Dress to Impress, you must go to the locker-like area right opposite the skin tones customization section. Before going there, design the outfit you want to save and equip it. Once you have the outfit on, get inside the trial room-like cabinet area, as shown in the above image, using the default Interaction button (E).
In the new menu, click on the first two icons — cash and cloth, in both the horizontal and vertical menu panel sections, as highlighted in the above image. Now, in the following menu, press the + icon and give a name to your outfit to save it permanently. Whenever you want to see the outfit, go to the same changing room area and access the Outfit section to see the list of saved outfits. You can again customize these outfits to make them even better or delete them if you don't like a particular set.
Why should you save outfits in DTI?
The main reason to save your outfit in Dress to Impress is for reusability. During a regular round, we only get 5 minutes to customize an outfit for a given theme, and most times, this is not enough to recreate the idea in our mind. But saving outfits allows you to refer and build upon a skeleton to match a given theme, saving ample amount of time for other stuff like makeup, nail customization, and more. Along with that, you can reuse a particular winning theme for other similar outfits. For instance, the prom and party themes are very similar and can be mix-matched with a good single outfit.
